GOOD NEWS!

The problem with the draft is fixed and no error shows, but you know if there is good news, it has to be some bad news. The bad news is that there is a problem in the draft where there are like 5-6 players that are doubled which means its like two Chris Paul's, but the 2nd Chris Paul never gets selected in the draft, but Seraph said he can fix that. There is also another problem once I get to the next season. The rookies don't show on my roster and they all of a sudden disappear. So I sent Seraph my dynasty file and now the problem here has to be fixed.

So, it looks like the dynasty will probably be stalled a little longer, but at least progress is being made. I'm getting alot of things ready for the 2nd season so once the dynasty is fixed, it will be like that I never paused anything because I willl already have my off-season done in one day and posted, then the season will start the next day, so just bare with me. And BIG thanks for Seraph, because he is doing alot of dbf work to help me and I'm just glad he came to the rescue

SbHzMaFiA's Suns 2004-05 end of season Birdie Breakdown:

Nash and Amare were still neck and neck for Team MVP down the regular wire, but Stoudemire came through to win Team MVP honors with a weighted Birdie score of 23.14- and his 'reversible' Live Card is now enabled.

Tapping into the top 20:
This Dynasty instance is currently ranked #14 on the Official 2005 Birdie Board!

Complete 'Birdie Breakdown' coverage AND to see Stoudemire's ' reversible' Live Card click here.

SbHzMaFiA: Thanks so much for submitting those pstats! And I'll be bugging you soon enough to fill out this Dynasty Synopsis Questionairre soon! Also, I was wondering, the next time Amare does an unbelievable play, can you please do save a frame by frame screenshot collection for me? I want to put that short video in your Dynasty Synopsis module(more explanation on this later).. To see what I have in mind check out, here

Thanks for being patient. Don't worry, it'll be worth the wait

Me too, I think it will though

Yea, like I said, it will be something you don't want to miss

HonorGlow, thanks for posting my birdie breakdown and looks like I'm moving up on the board from no.21 to no.14. I will definitely be filling out the dynasty synopsis questionairre too. One problem about the video though, I can't get videos to work on my game for some reason. It never opens up in a program after I record it.

Well, basically, my recommendation would be to go to Instant Replay after you obtain the play you want, and just basically painstakingly do the frame by frame using that 'video' console and record button that's provided (don't bother minimizing the console) when pressing the record/snapshot button it'll make a screenshot and keep it inthe screenshot folder. Yes, this captures the video console in your shot BUT I actually use that to my advantage(you'll see)

whew... that was wordy

Right now, things are looking very good and I will post some of the off-season stuff right now since I've completed it. There are still some minor problems to work out so as far as I know, the dynasty is still on.

NEW YORK, July 2 (AP) -- The 2005 NBA Draft Lottery was held today in New York City where several representatives from their repsective teams came to check out who will get the lucky roll this year. The teams participating in the lottery were Utah, Charlotte, Golden State, Atlanta, New York, Seattle, New Orleans, Chicago, LA Clippers, Milwaukee, LA Lakers, Toronto, Philadelphia and Portland. There has been a strong history of the team with the worse record rarely getting the top pick and that's exactly what happened this year. The Atlanta Hawks were the winner's of this year's draft as they had the 4th worse record in the league this past season and had a 120 out of 1000 chance of recieving the top pick. "I'm glad that we have the oppurtunity to pick first in a very deep draft," Hawks GM Bill Knight said. "This is just the beginning of rebuilding for our team."

The Utah Jazz didn't get snubbed as bad as some other teams have been in the previous years. Utah did recieve the 2nd pick after having the most chances at winning the top pick at 250 out of 1000. Jazz GM Kevin O' Conner said, "We are not mad that we didn't get the first pick because we don't need the first pick for what we are looking for. The player that is projected at going no.1 isn't the type of player we need at his position so I love the fact we have the 2nd pick." New Orleans are looking to make the most improvements in the draft as they have the 5th pick (from Golden State) and the 7th pick. In a deep draft like this year's, the Hornets can easily build on the draft and sign a few free agents to become playoff contenders next year in the NBA.

The fan-favorite New York Knicks had a good lottery as they finishe with the 5th worse record in the league, but ended up with the 3rd pick. Knicks President of Basketball Operations, Isiah Thomas, represented the team this year in the lottery and he was very happy with the results. "I thought we had a chance at the first pick, but I'm happy with the 3rd pick. A top 3 pick is great and I already have my eye on a few players that I like in the draft. After some draft workouts, we should know what player we will want unless the two teams ahead of us pick that certain player." When asked about trading his 3rd pick to get a player that his team needs in a weak area on the floor, Isiah said, "No, I don't see anybody out there right now that I would trade the 3rd pick for, but if the right offer comes along, I would be willing to trade it." The 2005 NBA Draft will be held on June 21st and expect some exciting things this off-season.

NEW YORK, July 3 (AP) -- Many players announced their retirements this week and a couple of key retirements are Gary Payton, Reggie Miller and Dikembe Mutombo. These three players have a chance at the NBA Hall of Fame and have had great careers. As each player was so great in their own ways, neither were able to win a ring throughout their career. Each of them came very close, but it just wasn't meant to be. Despite not winning a ring, their career player averages are very impressive. Gary Payton averaged 17.6ppg, 7.2apg and 1.9spg throughout his 17 year career.

Career Highlights:
-Named Defensive Player of the Year in 1996 and was the first guard to win the award since Michael Jordan in 1987-88
-Named All-NBA First-Team in 1998, 2000, All-NBA Second Team in 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999 and All-NBA Third Team in 2001
-Selected to the NBA All-Defensive First Team eight consecutive seasons (1994-2001)
-Selected to the NBA All-Star Team seven straight seasons (1994-98, 2000-01) and was voted as a starter in 1997 and 1998
-Member of the gold medal-winning 1996 and 2000 U.S. Men's Olympic Teams
-Scored his 15,000th career point vs. Philadelphia on 3/19/01, becoming the 88th player in league history to reach the milestone and just the eighth player in NBA history to compile 15,000 points, 6,000 assists and 1,000 steals.
-Played in the 1996 NBA Finals against the Chicago Bulls
-Set an NBA Playoffs record with 13 three-point attempts in one half against the Houston Rockets in Game 1 of the 1996 Western Conference Semifinals
-Named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 1990-91 after averaging 7.2 ppg and 6.4 apg

Reggie Miller played with the Pacers for his entire career and never showed signs of getting old as he kept his averages at a reasonable margin. Through his 18-year career in Indiana, Miller averaged 18.2ppg, 3apg, 3rpg, 93% FT and 39% 3P.

Career Highlights:
-Passed Charles Barkley for 14th place on the NBA's all-time career scoring list, finishing the 2003-04 season with 24,305 points.
-Has played 1,323 games in his career, seventh on the NBA's all-time list
-Has played more games with the same team than all but two players in NBA history, John Stockton and Karl Malone of the Utah Jazz
-Went over 100 3-pt FGM for the 15th consecutive season, a NBA record
-The all-time NBA leader in 3-pt FGM ended the season with 2,464 3-pt FGM
-Won the NBA's J. Walter Kennedy Community Service Award for 2003-04
-In second round against Miami, scored 19 points in 18 minutes in Game 2 to move past Bill Russell into 22nd place on the NBA's all-time playoff career scoring list
-Recorded a double-double for the first time in two years, he had 14 points and a season-high 10 rebounds vs. Boston, 2/1/03. It came two years and a day after his last one, which also came against the Celtics, 1/31/01.
-Represented the U.S. in the 2002 World Basketball Championship in Indianapolis.
-Averaged 24.3 points against the Lakers in the 2000 NBA Finals.
-Five-time All-Star (1990, '95, '96, 98 and 2000).
-Named to the All-NBA Third Team in 1997-98 for the third time, following 1994-95 and 1995-96
-Named to the 1997-98 NBA All-Interview Second Team
-Competed in 3-point contest on All-Star Weekend five times, finishing as high as 2nd in 1990 and 1995
-Became the first Pacer ever to start in an NBA All-Star Game in 1995.
-Member of the gold medal-winning U.S. Olmpic Basketball Team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta
-Leading scorer (17.1 ppg) and a tri-captain on the gold medal-winning U.S. Basketball Team at the 1994 World Basketball Championship in Toronto.
-Named to the 1987-88 NBA All-Rookie Second Team after averaging 10.0 ppg and 2.3 rpg

Dikembe Mutombo, who completed 15 years in the NBA was probably one of the best defensive big men in the game period. He went through 6 teams in his career and grabbed 10+ rebounds in 12 out of the 15 seasons. He averaged 11.1ppg, 11.2rpg and 3bpg in his career.

Career Highlights:
-Named 2000-01 NBA Defensive Player of the Year, his fourth selection (1997-98, 1996-97, 1994-95)

-Made his seventh career All-Star Game appearance in the 2001 NBA All-Star Game in Washington, D.C.
-Recorded 2500th career blocked shot at Minnesota on 12/28/01, becoming the seventh player in league history to reach that plateau
-In 1999-2000, led NBA in rebounding (14.1 rpg), first member of Hawks to achive such a feat since Bob Pettit in 1955-56, and ranked second in field-goal percentage (.562) and blocked shots (3.28)
-Named NBA Player of the Week for games played 1/24/00 through 1/30/00, after averaging 13.7 ppg and 19.7 rpg

Thanks and yea I know you love the off-season, especially the scouting. I'm trying to make the off-season as in-depth as I can, but sadly there won't be no scouting reports because the fact that my rookies were messed up in the game, but they should be fixed before the season starts. The draft will be in-depth though. I don't know how the Bobcats got the 4th pick with the 2nd worse record. It's kind of sad, but they did good at signing free agents so they did make some improvements.

Thanks, I'm glad to see it's working too, I'm just hoping this last small problem can be fixed and then I'll be ready to start the new season.

Knicks get the third pick!

Yea, it was about time they got lucky with something, I just hope they pick someone worthy to help the team, because the rest of their team is going to be pretty much the same in the off-season unless they make some trades.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Expect a new set for the 1st page as well because the other set is getting a little old. Also resignings, key resignings, the draft and key signings very soon. Things are just getting started (Y)

This is just getting annoying now. Thanks Seraph for fixing the problem too.

I can't believe that it still doesn't work after he fixed the problem. Now that everything shows in the season and all the problems are fixed, except when you try to sim to like play a game or skip a day, the game crashes completely and doesn't give me no apperance error or anything. I don't know what the problem is now and the dynasty is starting to look like its going to die unless there's another solution. If someone knows a way to fix this problem then please help.
