Hope you can win against my bro's Heat :) It's not hard! Everytime I play with my Pacers against the Heat (and without Artest)... I win

this looks to be a good series....Heat appear to still be rolling from that dramatic 0-3 comeback against the Pistons....

go Matrix

Yea, they are definitely rollin' with all those rebounds and outside shots they made.

aww..ur down 1, that aint bad, ill be rootin for u man

btw if u wanna update wades shoes, ive made em

uve a great dynasty man..one of my favs

Yea you right because I was down 0-1 to the Nuggets in the first round and I went on to win. I saw you updated Wade's shoes too  just need a shoe patch.

So close so close...Nash and Stoudemire duel it out for Team MVP honors during the mid-season, but at least at this point, Amare wins out as he squeezes by Steve with a weighted Birdie score of 22.96- and his 'reversible' Live Card is now enabled.

Tapping into the top 20:
This Dynasty instance is currently ranked #20 on the 2005 Birdie Board

Mafia: Wow, I did it...seesh took me long enough! I know you're in the playoffs but is it possible to send the End of Regular season pstat...let's find out who really got Team MVP Honors! ...as it seems I'm back, the results won't take that long to get back! Again, Sorry about the extra extended wait!

Yea I'll send it once I get to you on MSN. I thought I would be ranked higher than 20 though  Thanks for posting it and I can't wait for my end of the season birdie stats.

Bad luck in Game 1 Mafia, but it's only one game. I'd suggest not getting to clever and losing a game on purpose to win the crown in Phoenix though.

Don't worry  I'm not taking any of these games easy even though I wish I had complete control throughout the series.

hes not the only 1 , tough game 1 loss for ya mafia *snickers* hope all the games are like this......i mean by them being close 1's of course

:x  I know you just as happy too

yay you lost mafia! Go miami!

That's nothing to be proud of

bad luck you lost though

as they said "one game don't make a series"

i think you will bounce back

o man.....you definitely will have to watch out for Flash

Yea thats true and I still have another game at home to change the outcome of the series. Wade has been playing pretty well in the series too.

Keep ur chin up Suns!

Thanks for the encouragement (Y)

hope you can win next game

Me too, thanks for wanting me to win too

Hope you can win against my bro's Heat It's not hard! Everytime I play with my Pacers against the Heat (and without Artest)... I win

 It seem like things get harder in the playoffs, I don't know if that's just in my head or EA did something to make it that way to make it more realistic.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Game 2 will be posted today because I've already played it and had some surprising results. Keep on the look out

It's the motherfuckin Shaq attack biatch!!!! w00t, you lost! How did you go about defending the "Little Warrior"?

 :( If you mean by "Little Warrior" is Shaq then I just tried to double or triple team him whenever he got the ball. Sometime his post position was so deep that I had a hard time stopping him earlier, but one thing that really helped me is that when I came over to help with Johnson and a few other guards, he lost the ball easily in the post after I pressed the steal button. If you was talking about Wade  then I really didn't stop him because he usually doesn't play that well against me. He almost had a triple double and he kind of played like T-Mac in Game 1 with his explosiveness just like he plays in the real life which I kind of liked. He shot alot of jumpers, but not alot of 3's and when he had the chance to go all the way in, he tried to either dunkt he ball or lay it in.

Yeah, I was talking about Shaq.

Stoudemire blocked 7 shots in the game

PHOENIX, Arizona (AP) -- The Phoenix Suns looked unstoppable. The Miami Heat looked puzzled. A couple of nights after teammate Shawn Marion scored 30 points, Steve Nash scored 30 points and the Suns met virtually no resistance in a 122-103 victory over the Heat that tied the series up at 1-1 in the 2004-05 NBA Finals. After losing in a hard fought Game One at home, the top-seeded Suns had their breakneck offense back in high gear in Game 2. "It is now in our control," said Suns forward Shawn Marion, who had 26 points and 14 rebounds. "We have finally had a game where it was at our pace for the entire time and that's what we need all the time in order to win this series."

The Suns toyed with the Heat as they posted their largest win of the lopsided series. Quarterbacked by all-star point guard Steve Nash, they dished out a total of 31 assists, a franchise playoff record. Stoudemire was unstoppable, making 7-of-13 shots and finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and a playoff career-high with 7 blocks. "I came out with 100 percent effort," Stoudemire said. "I know in the first game, I didn't have that same drive at the beginning and tonight was just a completely different story for me." He was also able to put Shaq in foul trouble early in the game once again and caused him to foul out midway through the 4th quarter.

The Heat just wouldn't go away after Damon Jones 3-pointer gave him a team-high 28 points and cut the Suns lead to single digits under the 9 minute mark. After Marion drew a foul for a 3-point play, he came back down and made a wide open 3-pointer from the wing to put Phoenix back up 109-94 at the 7:07 mark. Steve Nash hit the 30-point plateau by shooting a tough fadeaway over Wade in the corner taht put Phoenix back up 111-96 right at the 6 minute mark. Things got worse for the Heat as Shaq fouled Jim Jackson off a jumpshot that fouled him out for the rest of the 4:55 left in the game. Stoudemire was then fed by Nash with an alley-oop and Amare threw it down ovfer Mourning that kept the Heat away from striking distance.

SUNS HEAD COACH MIKE D’ANTONI
Image
"We played excellent tonight. We were making shots and that was something we couldn't do in the first game. Stoudemire came out hot and we outrebounded them by +1, which is good due to the fact they have Shaq on their team. We also had more assists and blocks in the game. We have to carry this momentum into Game 3 because we will be looking for them to come out real strong."

SUNS FORWARD SHAWN MARION (26 PTS, 14 ASSTS):
Image
"I think our defense really won us this game. We kept Shaq in foul trouble for most of the game and we forced him to have a bad game. We shot the ball well from downtown and went to the free throw line alot. When we play our style of basketball, its tough to beat us and we didn't exactly do that in Game 1 and we had a hard time doing it for 4 quarters in the Houston series."

HEAT HEAD COACH STAN VAN GUNDY
Image
"It was a very tough night for us. We couldn't get anything going in the 2nd half and that 3rd quarter killed us. We didn't get to the line as much as we did in Game 1 and the Suns went to the line 26 times. Damon and Eddie did a great job trying to keep us in the game, but after Shaq fouled out, we had no big time scorer in the middle and he was off tonight just making 4 out of 14 shots."

HEAT CENTER SHAQUILLE O'NEAL (22 PTS, 7 REBS, 9 ASTS):
Image
"The refs were calling the game very strict tonight. I was called for alot of fouls that I thought were unneccessary and it slowed my game down. The fouls made me inaffective throughout the game, but I will look to do what I do best in Game 3. You can't always get what you want and we just wasn't ready tonight and you can look at the score and tell."

Coo, too bad the Heat couldn't hang in Game 2

Don't get nervous. You've been down before. You've got this

Well we didn't look nervous out there in Game 2 with the way we were hitting all our shots. I'm glad we got that first win out the way though.

OMFG, U r such a loser!!!!1!

NOW IM A WINNER :P

Dragon is right he is a big fan of Eddie too, is really hrad to loss a game at home...
I hope you can win some games ...

Yea I know, and Eddie been kicking my ass in this series so far. We are a good road team so I'm feeling good about going into Miami and trying to win at least 2 of their 3 games.

Yeah, I was talking about Shaq.

Oh, I kind of figured that since you did put "Little Warrior" in parentheses  Just wasn't sure.

excellent recap , and a BIG win

31 assist WOW

Thanks and Nash did alot of dishing with 11 dimes. Stoudemire also impressed me with his all-around game, he also had 4 assists.

haha great stuff man...great stuff, nash with 30...just amazing..just a couple more wins

Thanks Kuttan, I was glad Nash stepped up after Marion stepped up in the first game. It seem like every player is looking to get 30 for Phoenix in this series

I'd say that's a fairly emphatic response to the loss in Game 1. Sounds like you ran the Heat all over the court. How do you think you'll fare in Games 3-5 in Miami? Confident of a 4-1 victory?

Thanks, when those 3 step it up, its real hard to stop us. I think if we win, Marion will get MVP definitely if he keep playing the way he has been playing. He is 1st in PPG, 1st in RPG, 2nd in APG, 2nd in SPG and 2nd in BPG.

another hard fought game congrats on the win EJ has been very strong this finals series and hope he continues to be strong for the rest of the finals and maybe who knows in mvp contention.

I know you didn't like that game as much as Game 1 :P  EJ been playing like he is just got in his prime  He has been more affective than any shooter I've played against in the playoffs including Peja.

i don't get it....

I know you was  I was just saying that the Heat weren't able to hang with me in Game 2 so it wasn't really a contest. Nothing towards you

I'd say that's a fairly emphatic response to the loss in Game 1. Sounds like you ran the Heat all over the court. How do you think you'll fare in Games 3-5 in Miami? Confident of a 4-1 victory?

Yea, we haven't played like that team wise since Game 1 against the Rockets. I'm not too sure about winning all 3 in Miami, but it's possible since I have a good feeling heading into the 3 game stretch after Game 2. I don't expect Shaq to stay down the entire series either and if he can get it going along with the two Jones continuing to make shots, then it will be alot tougher for me. I'll say I can win 2 out of the 3 games in Miami and head back to Phoenix up 3-2.

 Thanks for the support, glad to have alot of supporters because the Heat have a strong supporting cast as well. This could be a new rivalry

Good win man! I told you It's not hard!

Thanks, it wasn't hard that game, but that doesn't mean it won't be hard in Miami. I'm hoping I can have that same cake walk in Miami, but I'm pretty sure it won't be happening.

Yea, its possible like I said before, but I don't want it to go to game 7 because I don't want to be put in a position of possibly losing and having no chance of coming back with a win. I want to try and finish it in 6 games hopefully.

the Sun's back!

Yea, we looked more like the team in the season. I'm surprised to see Amare do so well on Shaq and Hunter minutes have been limited due to the fact, Shaq would just man-handle him because of his size.

Matrix is ur team.. he will win MVP 4sho!

It will be great for him if he can win MVP if I win the championship. It will either be between him, Stoudemire or Nash if I win.

Nash or Amare for MVP! Forget the Matrix!

Well Nash and Amare haven't came through every game for me in the playoffs and Marion has been consistent throughout. Stoudemire has scored the most single-game points for me in the playoffs, but he didn't neccessarily come through in each game like Marion did.

haha cool thats what I like to hear.

Yea, if the Heat end up winning, EJ may be the one to win MVP as unrealistic as it is  I would rather for Shaq or Wade to win it, but Shaq has the better chance of winning it than Wade.
