yep, you were right when you said you had trouble with Rockets....you really need Amare to go at Yao and try to get him in foul trouble....same against T-Mac....

Q's numbers looked pretty close to my prediction (Y)

good luck in game 5....series is shaping up for a fan-tastic finish....good to see Heat win a game as well....

T-Mac missing a dunk? Impossible!

Lol joke, hope you win this one bro!

Go MIAMI!!!!

Well I've seen him miss one before along with Stoudemire so anything is possible

one question: how can I open a Newspapper [if it's possibile]?

You can't open the newspaper, its more of a front cover preview.

good luck for game 5 because you'll need it

let's go miami

lol the same suns team in your dynasty is playing memphis in the playoffs as that is where you're from, right?

Thanks, and yea I know that those Suns are playing the Grizzlies.

And also.. 2-2, this is getting good!

Even though I don't like it like that, I guess it is. The team won't have shots when we need them late in the game, but the computer just knocks most of them down at will.

Good luck winning game 5 now that the pressure's on.

And go Detroit!

Thanks, it will be alot pressure for sure

Yea beceause Stoudemire has trouble guarding Yao and even when I put Hunter on Yao, he still is able to dominate. Amare can't even shoot over Yao, but sometimes his quickness gives him the chance of blowing by him and getting the easy dunk or layup.

Q-Rich numbers looked pretty good just like you said. The series should finish in dramatic fashion, but I'm hoping for myself to come out on top.

I see. Where exactly can you make the CPU shoot freethrows for you? Looks like something I really need!

Oh yea I hope you get them rockets, even though T-Mac will give you a hard time.

P.S: Did I mention that I love how you put shoes in the game? Makes screenshots even better, for me at least.

HOUSTON, (Ticker) -- The series is now tied up and Game 5 could belong to either team. The Rockets have made the same type of comeback the Suns made against the Denver Nuggets in the first round. After the Nuggets led by 2-0, the Suns went on to win 4 straight and go to the 2nd round. Phoenix are looking to do all in their might to prevent that from happening to them. They have lost two straight to the Rockets and Houston has been clutch in each game. "They may not seem like a deep team, but they really are," Shawn Marion said. The Rockets have had different players stepping up in each game which has been mentioned several times, but it is so important that the Rockets get other players involved. It just hasn't been McGrady and Yao, but more of Wesley, Sura and Hoawrd.

For a team that doesn't score in the hundreds that much, they have exceeded expectations in the playoffs as a 7th seed. Houston swept the Spurs in the first round who were without their superstar Tim Duncan. In the 2nd round, they beat the Timberwolves in 5 games who were at full strength and now they are in the position of winning another series. "We never give up and that what makes our team so strong," Houston backup guard Mike James said. "We have a size advantage over the Suns and when you have two all-stars on your team, they can quickly change the momentum of a game by taking over." The size of Yao has gave Stoudemire alot of trouble in the paint. Yao has came through with blocked shots and not letting Stoudemire overpowering him in the post. The Suns have went with matchup chanegs by putting Stoudemire at PF and Hunter at center, but Yao starts to do more damage on the offensive end. If the Suns want to win this series, they have to make outside shots is what basically got them to the postseason as a number 1 seed.

Phoenix hasn't been very successful shooting the ball from the outside against the Rockets in the two games they have loss and the Rockets have change the tempo of the game in all 4 games they have played. "We know that the Suns are known to making big runs in the 4th quarter, and it took us awhile to understand that, but we now know what it takes to stop them in the 4th quarter," Bob Sura said. The fact that the Rockets have Tracy McGrady has really hurt the Suns in terms of who will guard who. The idea of putting McCarty or Marion on McGrady works, but Marion on Howard doesn't work nor does Hunter on Yao. The Suns are still searching for that lineup that can matchup well with the Rockets and they might look at putting a big backcourt lineup in for Wesley and Sura by putting Johnson and Richardson in the backcourt at times.

Thanks man, and welcome to the forums too. :)

Well the only thing I do is when one of my players go to the line, I pause the game and go to select controller and just move my controller to the middle where the computer controls both teams. Then as soon as he releases the 2nd free throw, I pause the game again and put the controller back on my team so it will give me a chance of getting a rebound if I missed. It works out pretty well for me.

Thanks, I'm a big shoe fan so I like to use alot of different shoes in the game and with the help of seraph's shoe patch and the shoe patchers on this site, it gives me the oppurtunity to enjoy it myself. Big props to all the shoe patchers and seraph (Y)

Quentin Richardson shot 7-14 from downtown for 30 points in Game 5

PHOENIX, Arizona (AP) -- Quentin Richardson started his own 6-0 run by knocking down two 3's from different corners to put the Suns up 91-84 with 9:39 left in the 4th. After McGrady ended the 6-0 run, Richadson came back down and nailed his 3rd triple of the quarter which gave him 21 points for the game. At the 7:55 mark, the Rockets cut the lead back down to 3 points after Wesley made a 3 from the left wing. Yao had to switch up on Marion after a pick was set and Marion isolated him and took him to the hoop, scoring while drawing the foul for the 3-point play oppurtunity. That gaev Yao his 6th foul of the game and he sat with 7:30 left to play. Richardson seemed unstoppable making his 6th 3-pointer of the game to put the Suns up 100-91 with 7:05 left to play.

The Rockets managed to still get back in the game going on a 6-0 run of their own to cut the lead back down to 100-97 at the 5:08 mark. Stoudemire was found twice roaming around the paint for the easy dunks and he help put Phoenix up 104-97 with 4:28 left to play. After both teams went almost 3 minutes without scoring, McGrady made a long jumper to cut the Rockets deficit to 106-101 with 2:07 remaining in the game. Sura ripped Nash at midcourt and went all the way for the layup that made it 106-103 with just over a minute remaining. Richardson attempted another 3, but it hit the back of the rim and the Rockets grabbed the rebound with 38.1 seconds left.

Houston went to Juwan Howard in the post who pulled up for a jumper, but was fouled by Marion on the way up which was Marion's 6th foul of the game and Howard went to the line. Howard made both free throws to make it a 1-point game with 26.4 seconds left. Houston decided to foul Stoudemire with 19 seconds left to put him on the line. Amare made 1-2 from the line and the Rockets used up a timeout. The Rockets went for a quick 3 by giving it to Wesley who missed the shot and Hunter grabbed the rebound and was fouled by Mutombo with 12.8 seconds left. Hunter missed both free throws and McGrady grabbed teh rebound and called a timeout with 11.8 seconds left. Sura set up at the top of the key and he was looking for McGrady in the post. T-Mac finally got good post positioning on Richardson and he recieved the ball with 2.4 secs left. He went up with his right hand and shot a hookshot over Richardson that was good with 0.4 seconds left. The Suns used their final timeout and they went to Johnson to get a quick shot off, but he wasn't able to get the shot off in time over Wesley.

The Suns recieved first posession and they quickly went to their hottest guy of the night with Richardson who made another 3 that gave him 27 points for the game. With the Rockets still scoreless, Nash intercepted a pass from Sura and threw the outlet pass to Richardson who finished with the dunk that put the Suns up 112-107 with 3:49 left in the extra period. The Rockets finally got on the board after that sequence when Wesley made a short jumper to cut the deficit back to 3 points. With 2:36 left to play, McGrady bumped Richardson to gain some space and shot a fadeaway over him to make it a one point game. Johnson and Stoudemire worked a pick and roll from the right side and Stoudemire made the layup to put Phoenix back up 114-111 and the Rockets used a timeout afterwards. With 1:07 left to play, Sura pulled up for a jumper that hit all net to give the Rockets their first lead of the overtime with a 115-114 advantage.

Phoenix used a timeout to set up a play for Stoudemire in the post. Amare recieved the ball and Wesley came over to double, but came too late and ended up fouling Stoudemire and sending him to the line. Stoudemire made both freebies that put the Suns up 116-115 with 58.9 secs left. McGrady had Stoudemire one-on-one, but came up short on his 3-point attempt. The Rockets fouled Richardson with 25.4 secs left to put him on the line. Richardson made the first one, but then missed the 2nd one, but Stoudemire grabbed the offensive rebound and McGrady fouled him with 23.5 seconds left which was McGrady's 6th foul of the game. Stoudemire made 1 out of 2 from the line and the Rockets inbounded the ball with no timeouts remaining. Sura came down and pulled up for a long 3-pointer that airballed, but Howard caught the ball and laid it in with 13.8 seconds left. The Suns inbounded the ball into Joe Johnson and he was fouled with 13.3 seconds left. Johnson sanked both free throws to put the Suns up 120-117. Sura walked the ball upcourt and passed it to Scott Padgett, Howard came and set a pick for him, but Padgett passed it to Wesley who had to shoot with 2.3 seconds remaining. Wesley pulled up for the 3-pointer over Johnson that hit the corner of the rim as time expired.

Fine win, and a high scoring one to boot... Better get game 6 and not allow it to go to a 7th, cause it's going to be a Russian roulette...

Yea it was a very exciting game. Game 6 looks alot more important than Game 5 now. As for the russian roulette, that was funny

HOUSTON, (Ticker) -- Houston is now in the position of being eliminated in tonight's game and the pressure is on. That doesn't mean the Suns have no pressure on them because they are expected to win and they will be in Houston which will be a hostile environment tonight. "We know that it will be real loud tonight because the fans don't want to their team go home and it should be a great game just like the past few games we had against the Rockets," Suns guard Joe Johnson said. Game 5 went into overtime and the Suns came out on top, but it took alot to win that game. "Q made seven 3's in that game and I'll say if it wasn't for that, we probably would be down 3-2 heading into tonight's game," Suns coach D'Antoni said. "We had 3 players with 20+ points and Marion had 18 and the Rockets two best players fouled out in that game which helped us even more."

The Rockets couldn't restrain Richardson from beyond the arc with him shooting 7/14 from downtown. "There is nothing you can do because he will shoot it from deep even if you give him very little space," Houston star Tracy McGrady said. "We were going at each other the entire game and he stepped up for his team." Steve Nash had his 2nd straight 14 assist game in Game 5 which is very impressive in a playoff series. "I just try to distribute the ball to all my teammates," Nash said. "I remember in Game 3, I was doing more shooting than passing, but in the past two games, my teammates have been making shots and if we can do the same thing tonight, we can get a trip to the NBA Finals." Phoenix has alot to play for tonight because they don't want to become a victim in a 7-game series with a dangerous team like Houston. In the Eastern Conference Finals, it's looking like the Miami Heat are making a comeback as well with the Pistons leading 3-2 just like the Suns. Miami has won two straight and no team has came from 3 down to win a series.

go Suns....I hope you wrap this one up in 6 and play the Heat in the Finals (although Pistons will advance)....I might have said I wanted Houston to push you (and they have) but the truth is I don't like T-Mac or Yao, and I like Q, Matrix, Nash and Amare....so go Suns!!!

nice to see huge game for Q :D

Really nice recap of Game 5 Mafia, sounds it was an exciting one to play. I love games like that. (Y) Blowout wins can be fun too but close, hard fought victories are especially satisfying. I hate it when the CPU has the last shot though, it has a habit of making really tough shots without too much trouble.

Possible last game. I'm hoping Miami can force a Game 7 and thanks.

Thanks Andrew. I love exciting, close games as well. It's a pain writing what happens in like every sequence though  but just playing the game is fun. I just had another one of those type of games in Game 6 and I will post the results in a few.

HOUSTON, Texas (AP) -- The most tense game of the series came tonight in Game 6. The Houston fans were on their feet at the start of the game and they rarely quiet down throughout the entire game. They were with their team the entire time to make sure they didn't fall asleep and let the Suns make a big run on them to go up double digits. The Rockets did all in their power to maintained a steady distance between them and the Suns. "We fought hard once again and it paid off for us," Rockets guard David Wesley said. "Hard work pays off is what the old saying says." Hard work gave the Rockets another chance of advancing to the NBA Finals for the first time since the 1995 season.

It was just 11 seconds into the 4th quarter when Yao fouled Stoudemire off a made hook shot that gave him 6 fouls for the game and he had to sit on the bench wtih 13 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks. Stoudemire connected on the 3-point play and brought the Suns within' 76-72. Joe Johnson picked off a pass and Wesley dived on the floor for th eball, but Johnson picked it up first and finished with a one hand dunk to move the deficit to just two points. The game was now tied after Marion made a short jumper with 10:44 left in the game. The Suns extended their lead to 80-76 at the 7:33 mark and the Rockets were still scoreless in the quarter. After the Rockets used a timeout, Juwan Howard came out and made a short one hand shot to end the 11-0 run and the scoring drought.

McCarty's jumper in the corner put the Suns back up 86-84 at the 4:06 mark which was his first points of the game. With just over 3 minutes left to play, David Wesley made a 3-pointer on the right wing to put HOuston up 90-89. Jim Jackson stepped into the lineup after Phoenix used a timeout and he made a jumper with 2:53 left to play that put the Suns back up 91-90. It was 51 seconds left when McGrady attempted an 18-foot jumper that clanked the rim, but Juwan Howard came through again with the offensive rebound and put the shot back up to put Houston up 97-96 with 48 seconds left. Phoenix didn't use a timeout and decided to play the game out. Nash ran a pick and roll with Stoudemire, but found Johnson in the corner who shot the jumper and it rimmed short. The Rockets grabbed the rebound and Johnson fouled Sura with 22.6 seconds left and had a foul to give, so he fouled Wesley with 20.1 seconds left to send him to the line.

Wesley calmly sanked both free throws to put the Rockets up 99-96 and Phoenix used a timeout. The Suns wanted to go for the quick two, so Nash ran a pick and roll with Stoudemire and Amare was doubled in the paint, so he found Marion who put up a layup that went off the side of the rim and Mutombo grabbed the rebound. Sura got the ball and was fouled with 9.8 seconds left. Sura made the first one, but missed the 2nd one and Stoudemire grabbed the rebound and quickly used a timeout with 8.2 seconds left. Jim Jackson recieved the ball after the timeout and put up a 3-pointer that was badly missed and the Rockets grbbed the rebound to end the game.

Another nice recap Mafia, though the Rockets haven't been to the Finals since 1995. ;) This series has been a classic battle so far, best of luck for Game 7!

Thanks again, and thanks for the correction  I don't know what made me think 1996. I'm hoping I can get the W in Game 7, a preview of Game 7 will be up in a little while with a little extra something in the preview so keep on the look out.

 It feels like I'm in the real NBA getting ready to play Game 7. Well this could sum up my season, or I can go to the NBA Finals and live a few more days. I already know it will be a very hard game to play.
