shit... this might also works for alternations of heads for home and away games? like... different hairstyles?
nice discovery. (Y)

So the point to this is that you can have multiple hairstyles (if you have the cyberface for them that is).

bhed_away
bhed_home
bhed_prxx

etc.. etc.. Thanks to Alex for finding this out!

Hairstyles per player

Postby ehlomint on Tue Feb 18, 2003 11:39 am

Great discovery, but when I put a bhed_prxx, bhed_away and bhed_home in a player's folder they don't show up in the game. Any ideas?

I always knew this was possible..but everyone told me that Tim said this wouldn't be possible. Hence i never experimented to find the appropriate naming scheme. This is great indeed....different spree, iverson and ben wallace hair styles

On a side note...i think it should be possible for players to have individual jerseys for 5 on 5 games. It's simply a matter of finding the naming scheme...like Tim said...most patcher friendly live to date :D

this is possible, i've tried it, just use the file name home.fsh and home_num.fsh or away.fsh etc put the files in the player's folder and u will have a custom home or away or any other jersey.
using this way, i was going to make a shorts number patch for the raptors and suns, but i never got around to doing it, because the size of that patch would be too big and if teams changed players, i would have to make an entirely new set. also, for gamers who play franchise or season mode (so almost everyone) if they trade players eg carter or marbury, the player would still wear the jerseys that are contained in the players folder....

well..i'm also thinking you could name it for the team. eg. "nyhome.fsh" "nyhome_num.fsh". thanks for the info :)

Before everyone gets too excited, has anyone actually got it this working properly yet? I actually did a fair bit of experimentation with renaming the bhed files for home and away games and they never showed up at all. All I did was rename the files as stated above, and then I stuck them in the player's folder as usual. Is there something that I'm missing here?

Then it probably only works with the _prxx suffix?

I haven't tried it either yet... so I don't know...

to get individual jerseys to show up you name them like madhandle says, I've done it and it works, I've made a whole team play in their practice gear. lol. mismatch team very funny.

Ryk.
