Who should grace the cover of Live 06?

Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

Who should grace the cover of Live 06?

Postby Get_Live_Loc05 on Wed Apr 06, 2005 6:46 am

The three most probable people to be on the cover of NBA Live 2006 should be LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Kevin Garnett.

I think they'll go with LeBron if they can, he's a great , young player who's popular as well. IMO it's more a matter of him wanting to be on the cover or not.

Btw, they sure missed with Carmelo this year, I feel like he hasn't lived up to the expectations at all.

I think he only signed up for NBA Live 2004. EA hasn't repeated any cover players so far.

Kevin Garnett has already been on the cover - NBA Live 2001
Lebron James is the obvious choice for the cover but D-Wade is a good choice too.
Personally I would like to see Shaq back on the cover.

Well I think LeBron will probably be on the cover, but Amare and Dwyane have their chances too... maybe the MVP if he has not already been on the cover...

Oliver Miller? He's so fat he'd be on the '06 and the '07 cover!
(I know, you were kidding, me too.)

Maybe 'Meka? Depends, really. They usually go with guards and SF's.

I believe Tony Parker was on the cover of NBA Live 2004 and 2005, for the European (maybe only french though) releases at least.

That's true. But for the North American releases (which is the same one we get here in Australia too), they haven't repeated any cover players.

Its often someone who made a big impact the year before. LeBron didn't make the playoffs, I doubt it will be him. They will keep him for in a few years when he does make the playoff and has a better team.

Players from the Suns have a very good shot (Amare, Marion, Nash) and Wade also.

I doubt Ben Gordon since casual fans have not heard that much about him but will hear a LOT more about him in future years. Okafor and the new Charlotte team have had more publicity and is a more known household name now.

Personaly,

I would pick Wade if Heat wins NBA Title.
I would pick a Suns player if Suns wins NBA Title.
I would pick Okafor if another team wins NBA Title.
I would leave LeBron, Gordon and others for future years.

1) Gilbert Arenas [don't think he's popular enough]
2) Dwyane Wade
3) Lebron James

It's gotta be Ben Gordon....How can u snuff him....He comes in in the 4th quarter and scores 10+ points....He will more than likely get 6th man of the year....and he led his team to the playoffs unlike someone (Lebron James) to be exact
