9 straight. Miami's up next so running the streak to 10 is easier said than done. But they're now 41-31, so for a moment they're 10 games over .500 and have secured a .500 finish. I'm still conservatively predicting a 5-5 finish.

miami just need one more win to be the Eastern Champion..
cuz even if Pistons won all the remaining games, they will only be 55 wins..

That's true, but not exactly relevant in a discussion about the Bulls.

well, with cleveland freefalling and bulls red hot, it's quite possible to get that 4th seed and home advantage over the wizards. Should be interesting on how things go in the final 10 games (Y)

For a moment they're in the fourth seed with Washington's loss. Both teams are 41-31 as of this post, but I believe Chicago holds the tiebreaker for the moment. They play the Wizards pretty soon, that could prove a costly game as both of them fight it out for home court advantage.

wow i just can't seem to remember the last time chicago was somewhere in 4th place.....1995.... :D
because other times they were either number one or in the bottom of the league...IMO a series with washington will be a good match up...... (Y) now only the home court is to be decided

The winning streak comes to an end, but defeating the Heat shorthanded isn't exactly easy, even when they're without Shaq. Washington lost as well so it's still essentially a tie in that fourth spot. Six of their last nine games are against teams under .500 including their next three. Five of the last nine are on the road, but I still think they'll get about four or five more wins and face Washington in the first round.

Wade is a beast, didn't expect them to spank the Bulls like this, but again with Shaq out, he's stepped up with 39 points, 4 rebound, 7 assists, and 13-20 shooting. The guy is a maniac.

Wizards lost though, so the Bulls are fine, Arenas and Jamison really lit it up, but the Celtics were too much, no interior defense on the Wiz's part. Who do you guys have next?

nocioni let the 'artest' in him out today. even if he might get a suspension, i'm glad someone on the bulls did something. it wasn't overly dirty. just a little extra shove to vent some frustration. there's not much you can do when miami was shooting like it was from the perimeter but the bulls defense gave too many free passes in the lane. skiles should have tried to get a T or something...

i think the wiz do have an easeir schedule

Stating the obvious, but that game in Washington is indeed a key game for both teams if the records remain deadlocked. Whoever wins that one takes the tiebreaker.

Since ESPN Pacific Rim shows games on a Thursday and Friday here (ie NBA Wednesday and NBA Friday), there's a good chance they'll show it here; currently, PR has no April 13th game scheduled. Here's hoping. (Y)

Meanwhile, the Bulls stand alone in the fourth spot as of today with a 102-101 OT win in Orlando, with Detroit beating Washington 105-93.

What up fellas. I'm new to the forum, but thought this would be a good place to start. I remember driving through Chicago back at the beginning of the year and everyone was saying how Skiles should be gone and Curry and Chandler suck. HAHA! Look at us now.

Hi got philk?, welcome to the forums. (Y)

I could be wrong, but I was taking another look at the standings and I believe the Bulls only need two more wins to clinch a playoff berth.

OMG!!! BULLS DYNASTY BACK?

CHANDLER!! 22 boards!! 15 POINTS?!?! that's what 42 minutes of play can give you, skiles!!

gordon was off, but hell! he dished out 6. that's truly a contributor in other ways than scoring (forgot the exact words the czar uses in nba live..)

can someone tell me what's up with the Bulls' starting C Eddy Curry only averaging about 6rpg

I know Tyson does well on the boards, but only 6 boards per for a starting big man who wants max

lol curry didn't everage 10 boards per in high school, how is he to average 10rpg against nba players?

it is disappointing to see him have a poor rebounding average. at least he's making the effort to improve in that area. you see him boxing out his man- he just doesn't appear to have good rebounding instincts.

i haven't heard anything about him directly saying he wants the max but his ability to score in the post and draw double teams combined with him being only 22 makes him a pretty valuable commodity
