Going to work on real salarys and cap

yup Im about half way through I stoped for a bit cause im workin on a fictional charlotte team to add in 03/04 Iv got jerseys Now im going to work on in game logos. anybody got any logos i could use.

The team is The Charlotte Fury

But if you guys got a good fiction logo Ill go with that.

I'm planning to update the NBA Live 2001 rosters in the meantime, so I could probably stand to take a few days break from the 2003 rosters. Probably won't be much in the way of transactions for the next couple of days anyway, so there won't be much to do.

Just a thought, how is the salary cap going to be updated? The installation routine runs in the My Documents\NBA Live 2003 folder, while salary.ini is located in felogic folder in the main game folder.

Doesn't the new Charlotte team start play in 2004/05, not 2003/04?

Trust me I got the slary cap working great i just got to finish updating all the players 1 at a time lol its a bit time consuming.

Is it 04/05?

Yeah, they start play in 04/05.

I meant the installation routine though, I know salary.ini is easily edited.

ok im about 75% done I had it all done but noticed a acouple mistakes so i gotta go redo 5 teams.

Andrew - we could always make it a exe file where that way the right stuff would get placed right. or you could just make it seperate and make it optional download.

I'm reluctant to make it a second download though, as anyone who does not download the salary cap update will experience problems with the updated salaries (ie, no cap space). I'm sure I can come up with something, perhaps an additional real salaries version, or perhaps the problem can be solved using Don's installation routine.

Well I can create a exe file that will palce everything ok i will make sure all the roster files 000 to 003 are all updated before i send it.

Hey Jerry,

I created jerseys for charlotte blues....and logos...i can send them to you if you like...

But i am unable to load a game with charlotte now...it crashes my game in the middle of loading an exhibition game...i'm trying to figure this out...once i do i'll get back to you i guess...
