1. Change the existing All-Stars that you wish to delete to created players. To do this with the toolkit, check the Created box.
2. Enter the game, load the roster. Delete the All-Stars from the Created Player List. You have removed them from the game.
3. Create duplicates of the replacement All-Stars. Don't bother filling in details, this can be done in the next step. Save the rosters, exit the game.
4. Now you'll need to edit the replacement All-Stars, using DB Commander or the Toolkit. Fill in the appropriate data, including pointers to the audio file, playerpkg, etc.
5. Move the replacement All-Stars to the East/West All-Star teams. Reorder the roster in the Toolkit or DB Commander, not in the game.
Miscellaneous notes:
A player's original team value will determine the jersey he wears on the All-Star team. Set this to his NBA team.
Make sure when you are changing the replacement All-Stars to resemble their pre-existing counterparts, you uncheck the Created box.
The replacement All-Stars have no career stats. You could always edit career.dbf and fill them in, but I wouldn't bother.
