How do you delete some players that don't play in the NBA any longer from the free agents pool? Otherwise, they will be signed by a computer controlled team in a franchise...
Well you could edit their ratings to 50 overall, so noone would sign them but I think it is annoying anyways, when retired players and others still show up in the FA pool.

Open players.dbf with Excel (or some other similar program) and look for Patrick Ewing. Look for the column that says ISHISTORIC or whatever and put TRUE. Save the players.dbf afterwards.
