Well, thanks fab5...
actually you really can't go wrong with either...just personal preference I suppose.
Basically, Geeks are the rosters EA puts out every 2 weeks or so. They're just available for dload at that site for those who don't have an adaptor.
Mine are "tweaked" (as everyone likes to say). I've edited the ratings each week to try and simulate how each player is doing in real life And to make it less "arcadey" (blocks, steals, dunks, etc.). I.E. Yao Ming has gone from a 77 overall to a low-mid 80's overall because of his improvement. I also edit the "looks" of each player so they look like they do. i.e. Bands, socks, rubberbands, tats, etc.
I'm a stickler for "realism" so I try to get it exactly right. Also, the rosters and depth charts are redone every week based on transactions, and also who starts in the most recent games. (I have NBA League pass so I get to see all the games...this helps tremendously).
Well, that's basically the differnence. I'm not a fan of EA's roster ratings, realism in any of their sports games...too many errors. So, that's why i offr mine as an alternative.
u can try them here:

note: this was scary..using my latest rosters in my own season..the Mavs were 19-2 at one point just like in "reality"...lol wierd! Also, riht now, Yao Ming is averaging 15.6 pts and 12.3 rebs in my season.
