Awesome scoreboard, i used in-game, and the colors detail and scoreboard illustration are on point, however as the game goes on, i get this strange horzontal flickering of the scoreboard


I can't take a photo of it, since it happens randomly, like a sudden flicker and i could see what looks like the same espn score board on the right of the screen.

Anyone else experiencing this or i'm the only one, hopefully that's not the case, this one sexy looking scoreboard

PS i been using the TNT scoreboard for sometime with no problems at all

i just test on 16:9(1960*1080)

a video or short clip would be best for diagnostic. As well as the screen resolution and settings you play on. I haven't noticed anything in my games, and the scoreboard looks well made in blender and hex. You are going to have to provide more information and a video clip, if you want us to understand the problem.

Thats the dilemma, i can't post video since it happens randomly during the match, not at specific point, only thing i can provide is my resolution 2880x1620

Ok i feel rather silly , it was my mistake, that flickering was actually the scoreboard animation (Team leads series) that goes up to reveal the time, during free throws

the animation is nice touch, i haven't seen it on other scoreboards, so it definitely caught me by surprise, can't thank you for how amazing this looks, cheers

If possible I think it would look better if it said whatever team leads instead of whatever team leads series so it reads better like shown here.

its impossible, because its a fixed length string in hex. but if we find the language packs of 2k18, i think it will be possible

Out of the fixed length hex strings in NewScorebug.VCUIELEMENT I think there might be 29 and I know what 2/3 of them are.
I'm no expert so I really don't know if there's more or less and all I've done to figure out what they mean is swap them around to see what happens.

Love the work that you and Bongo did on Scoreboards this year, hopefully you both will be back for 2K19.

We used to only have Exrixxx (Spelling?) to do scoreboards, and he was amazing at it. I used so many of his scoreboards on 2K14. Nice to see more people learn how to make them.

looyh, you mentioned a hex value for 0e 11 45 21 for NewScorebug.VCUIELEMENT. is that the same hex value ksmiz mentions: 0e114521 end of quarter ? or is that a different hex/element location? i'm confused looyh.

Last question i got.... did y'all every figure out how to change "personal foul" from the blue color to a different color?

oh, oh, i just had another question... for y'all.... do you have the hex pointer value for "HOME LOGO" "AWAY LOGO" "HOME LOGO 3D" "AWAY LOGO 3D" ? They show up in newscorebug.... so possibly somewhere in the newscorebug.vcuielement. the scoreswipe file also has the HOME LOGO 3D swipe accross when score.

If i remember, the 2k17 scoreboard has HOME LOGO as the score swipe.... and the 2k18 scoreboard has the HOME LOGO 3D score swipe. hmmm.... i might be wrong about that... but i'm pretty sure. I'll see if they are different. then maybe run a hex analsysis based on the values that ksmiz posted. maybe sometime this weekend.

edit: if we found the hex value for home_logo or home_logo_3d , then i would like to place the logo in the foul box... swap out foul name or team foul. Anyways, always liked the logos in the foul box... if we found the pointers. have a good evening.

edit2: i just remembered the home logo has mesh vertices in blender. i wonder if we could copy the home logo mesh from scorebug_opt.scn to scorebug_notification scn.... never tried it... looyh might know more about that.... maybe i'll fiddle this weekend. Anyways, maybe the logos aren't hex strings but just in the mesh information. Obviously, i have no idea what i'm talking about. haha. laters

yeah , when i replaced "0e 11 45 21" to "5f 34 e9 ff", the leads series changed to GAME*

my bad bongo I think I meant to update it with what looyh said but was just recently working on the end of quarter files when I typed that and then copied it over. I had it as a ? before looyh found it

I don't know if someone has already asked this, but is there a way to mod the notifications that come out during a game? I mean those screens that say the number of rebounds, points in the paint and all those stuff, because most of the time with modded scoreboards these screens come out on top of the scoreboard and it becomes impossible to read

Yeah, it's normal... You can change for another scoreboard if u want read stats games ^^
