Just wanted to say thanks for your scoreboards. I appreciate the work you put in.

i found this mod: http://www.moddingway.com/file/190734.html
i changed the texture a little and ported it to nba2k18.
the original texture was from exrxixxx (sportsnet v3). then the base texture was edited by Magnuz (sportsnet 2016). Then i did some slight modifications on this texture for this release.
anyways, that's the credit history of this texture.

I was just going to keep it for myself, but it turned out so pretty i figured somebody might want to use it. I usually buy nba2k basketball games ever three or four years, and will probably stick with nba2k18 for the next three or four years. So don't expect much from me in the near/far future.

Anyways, this is my last scoreboard. I'll be around randomly for the awesome courts and faces that are hosted here.

I made this scoreboard with tnt base at first before redoing it so the sizes would be similar. Would probably just need to scale it down so that it only swipes over the tri codes.

That's exactly what I mean. Would be a great addition to that board.

This literally only took me a minute to do so sorry I didn't look at it earlier I was too focused on one of mine I was almost done with.

If it isn't lined up perfect then I'll look again but all I had to do was throw it in blender then slide the away down in line with home and then scale overtop the color boxes. The first try looked spot on so here you go

This is just an IDEA how get EXTRA TEXT, no guarantees it works with 2k18 (It worked for 2k14).
Sorry in advance if your efforts will not be successful, but I hope it is worth to try.

I don't think this is going to work in 2k18.

Based off what you have said I looked and did not see any other additional occurrence (8d3ce739 or 0f4de9ed). To further test it I figured if what you proposed were to work in 2k18 then the inverse would also be true. That is if I were to change the tri code while enabling and offsetting the shadow then I would see the shadow stay the same (tri code) while then I could take the original tri code place and use that for stadium or record placement



Also other attempts to change possible bytes in between the home and away tri codes resulting in the tri code disappearing with one exception where the tri code was placed directly overlaying the shotclock idk what happened in that instance but it was odd

Edit 3/18:
looyh didn't use his new_score animation for espn or fox so I found a way to do it using/replacing the home and away new_scores

Try the nbc/looyh method
Download the nbc scoreboard&watermark from this thread:

It will contain nbc scorebaord and watermark
Place his nbc watermark into modded folder to see if the nbc watermark shows up correctly in game.
Open up watermark.iff and find logo_2k_nba_looyh.dds
replace his nbc image with your abc image

See if it changes to abc watermark and shows up proper ingame.
