Improved 2K expansion teams for offline MyLeague. UPDATE

Hi guys.
I'm trying to improve the look of the expansion teams.
As a player who spend most of the time playing offline myLeague with a 6 team's expansion, i think they are mostly ok, but a few of them could look a little bit better... and i think all of them should have Nike's uniforms.
So, i've been working on it.
I'm not an expert on modding NBA2K, i think it's difficult and time consuming, but i'll trying my best.
My goal is Nike's logos and fictional's sponsors to all 10 exp teams.

The first improved team is the Nashville Stars.(probably the best original design among all 10 exp team, i only modded it because is the team i used to play and i wanted it to look better )

What changed:
- Uniform's colors.
- Uniform's logos (Nike and sponsor) and a few details.
- Court's logos.
- 3d logo (just a minor color change, i don't mess with 3d at all...)


Download: not finished, needs some tweaking...

edit1: I didn't change uniform's pictures, all the changes are only visible inside a game or in the roster's screen.

edit2: I'll try to improve courts too.

How about modding the preset assets or design on expansion mode?

i wanted to replace the preset into my liking of design.

i wanted to replace the preset into my liking of design.

You can use from logo800.iff to logo810.iff to replace presets for your own logos, and create your own uniforms and courts.
For me, the dowside of doing this way are:
- i cant figure out how to put the arena name logo.
- the announcers will never speak your team's name, only the city.

how did you edit assets or how do you know what filesnames must be edited? did you use NBA2K17 explorer?

- You have to use NBA2K17 explorer to extract the .iff file
- 7zip to extract the .dds file from the .iff
- Image editor (with the intel plugin installed) to visualize, create your own .dds file or to edit the .dds from the .iff
- 7zip again to put .dds inside the .iff
- Copy the .iff to the modded folder
- Open the game and check if everything is right.

This is how i do, but maybe there's something more...
As i said, i'm not an expert in modding NBA2K...

One suggestion: remove the logo from the side of the Surf jerseys (just above the waist) as it looks a bit out of place there. Apart from that it's very good!
