I was just PM'D and told that Barkley's Old CF and Dream Team CF are not in the game, but someone else said they were. Can someone take a screenshot of it and tell me the CF ID? His Dream Team one last year was 8018 I believe. I just can't check right this second.

I'm not 100% sure I did it right, because it was my first time using this tool, but I'm pratically certain of it because I used the same method every time. CF ID 768 and 8018 just made my created player invisible, while I could transform him into Melo using ID 1015 with no problems

You are frightening me...

0768 Barkley is gone (no cyberface at all) but Dream Team Barkley is still in the game (4645). The IDs no longer have 0s in the front too so, for example, Allen Iverson's cyberface is now simply 5 instead of 0005. Reggie Miller and Rasheed Wallace are also gone or at least not present in their previous locations from 2K17. I'll be PMing you a picture of Barkley.

Worked perfectly using ID 4645. You da real MVP Johnny

Damn, losing that Reggie face is annoying. Huge converting job awaits us.

Ouch....
Hopefully I stumble upon them.

I tried to find the memory address for the socks, but didn't have any success. This year, undershirts have their own team colors, as well as compression shorts/pants, rubber bands and so forth. It's a mess.

Socks seem to have their own texture, idk..
@CarolusXCI how did you locate for example this mavs uniform?
Seems like I can't find them in memory this year....I mean which string did you search in CE?

As you can see all the address are in RED...
EDIT: nevermind I found them

Very nice, let's hope 2K don't fuck us over like last year.

Ok for classic teams is really easy.....just 3 hex values....for classic teams using "STANCE SOCKS" maybe there is a prefix to change before socks color....
You can save the roster and won't be overwrite by the game...
@PeacemanNOT as offline player I used to save the .exe......honestly I love 2k18 default gameplay.....I've done the same for 2k17...I don't like 2k put 5-6 patches every year
IMHO game patches sometimes makes the game actually worst than default game....but this is just my opinion

Can any of guys please assist with finding the array of bytes that will allow me to copy attributes for players while in the edit player screen.
I could easily find the values last year and edit them in cheat engine to create rosters. This year I find values but cant change them in outside of the game

I can give it a try. Can you tell little bit more about this problem?
By the way, I just did a very simple cheat table with all arenas and teams, which may help someone to quickly change team names, used arenas, floors and so forth:

I'm planning to update it as I find more stuff. I can release if someone is interested.
The problem is, because I'm a novice, I wasn't able to make the cheat table always read the info I want, since the main address I'm using as a reference for the rest of the table always change a little bit when I launch the game. So I have to edit the first address of the table everytime I want to use (which takes 1 min, but is annoying nevertheless). Does anyone know how to fix that?

I think you would need a "pointer" or make the game do an "AOB Scan"... I'm still new to all of this but I'm pretty sure that is what is needed and I don't really know how to create those. Good work!

I will make a brief video to help you better understand what I am trying to accomplish.

I followed a random video tutorial and it worked. Thanks for the heads up! I'll try to adjust a couple of things here and there and then I will release the table.

Pointer. I used this tutorial:
https://youtu.be/41EuADEtKogI think I had to repeat the pointer scanning process only twice.

Cool stuff

I was able to find a pointer that tells which player is currently on the "edit player" screen. And I think I found which bytes are responsible for each attribute. Not sure yet though.
Sun Sep 24, 2017 4:21 pm
TGsoGood, this is the progress so far.
Sun Sep 24, 2017 8:25 pm
Thanks for the help. I actually watched that video link you posted and it helped. I found a pointer after spending about 2 or 3 hours trying to figure out what I was doing. But I was so tired that I accidently deleted all my progress. Very frustrating.
Glad to see you have had some success.

I made this table yesterday. Could you test it?
