what are you going to do with players like Simmons because on regular season he was trash but on playoffs he was awesome

Most of our statistics stuck to the regular season as it is supposed to be an end of season roster prior to the playoffs. Simmons is around a 70 in our roster if I remember correctly so he can certainly hold his own. Solid defender and midrange game plus some slashing. Just don't expect him to carry a team.

I wonder if Jeremy Lin will be rated somewhere around John Wall in terms of speed. I've seen that his combine numbers are basically as good as Wall's, but he's been rated much lower by 2K due to what I imagine is some unintended biasing given how unathletic he might look.

Couldn't agree more. Jeremy Lin has always been characterized as unathletic with a high basketball IQ because of racial stereotypes when his game is very much the opposite. Our roster will reflect that. Believe me when I say that this is the most realistic and true to the game roster you'll find. This is not just a shiny polish slapped onto 2k17, this a statistical overhaul. Every attribute and tendency has been reworked from the ground up using formulas based on real NBA stats. We love the NBA and we wanted a roster that was true to the game.

Yes, IHateMondayz has a comprehensive settings for sliders what work to match the realism of an NBA game. Those will be released along with the roster.

Will this be released before 2K18 is released ?

Our problem is we don't want to set a deadline and miss it, but I will say we are hoping that by the end of the weekend you should be playing with the 2016-17 NLSC Community Roster.

CAN'T WAIT! if you guy's need a beta tester this weekend who is really good with signature shots, don't hesitate to ask away. That's pretty much what I spend my time on, making sure shots and freethrows are as exact as they are in real life... stars..role players...legends included.

On a side note...
Here's a preview of the passing available in the NLSC Community Roster. This is a CPU vs CPU game. You'll see the AI moves the ball and looks for the open man while players without the ball are more likely to cut to the basket. As a defender, you need to keep on your toes or you're liable to get burned on a back cut. Additionally you'll notice all accessories are correct as of the 2017 NBA finals.

That's the 17/18 you want to use for Start today (if you want to play with Butler on T-Wolves for example). 16-17 is just updated and rejigged everything and you start it from the beginning of the 16-17 season (Durant has just joined GSW)
