thank you @marulius.

upload all retro stuff you have ;)

btw, does anyone know if we can compile all the retro mods we have so (91/92, 96/97, 00/01 and 02/03) far into one mod, like some mini URB/UBR?

I assume it would be technically feasible with some work. I'm guessing you're asking whether it would be appropriate or allowed under the rules of our modding community, and...yeah, that's a tricky one.

Obviously, the wishes of individual modders need to be respected in terms of re-use and re-uploads. At the same time, people can change their minds. However, people also leave the community and while some do return, others move on to new things and they become harder to track down. To that end, it's sometimes easier to go ahead and do something while giving full credits to the original authors, while noting that if there are any problems, the offending work will be removed. When someone hasn't been around in more than five or six years, that's usually the way to go.

As a community, we've never collectively decided if there's a set age for work or a duration of inactivity by the author that designates mods as being open source or public domain (in terms of community ethics, that is). It is a shame for old releases to disappear or to go to waste, so as long as full credit is being given for the original work and there's a disclaimer that work will be removed if there's a problem, it's still operating within the spirit of the community. To put it another way, if someone wanted to give it a try and follow those guidelines, then site policy would back you up on it, as long as you were willing to pull the plug if the original authors showed up and indicated they weren't cool with it.

Therefore, if someone wants to look into the feasibility as far as overlapping files and sorting files into more manageable download parts, feel free to give it a look.

Is this everything? I put everything in game the right way, and there are A LOT OF fakes (created players), most every player has a portrait. But I'm seeing like 4 or 5 fakes per team (in the case of a team like the Sixers, even more)

@andrew

why these mods @marulius uploaded are not in 2k10 nlsc download section?

they might get lost again if they are not on nlsc servers too.

I'll have to look into it. They might be too big for us to host, but I'll see what I can do.
