I'm retro maniac guy, i really don't know the idea here... it seems that a lot of good projects have been made and under way.

But two things are sticking to my head: why not go for the 1984, 1983, 1982, ..., 1946.ros, if we do have Mr. parthehead with all seasons.ros from 1946 till 1984 in NBA 2K13?

And the other, and more important, why not combining forces with the UBR done work that are dying in the thread with this new work from you? It seems complicated but it's not.

Guys, in a simple move we can have all seasons in the same mod.

Its not possible to combine two project, it must recreated from zero and i dont want to die in front of redmc Why it must be recreated from zero?

Because our idea about retro stuff is way different than it was in Hawks project. Hawk decided to take his time and create ALL seasons, we decided to focus on details, im talking about art files(recreated logos, courts, jerseys, shoes, dornas, all with big help from community) contracts, jerseys numbers, no single one generic cfs and ofc whole slimm stuff like ratings, tendencies, whole gameplay aspect but also NCAA, Olympic mods without overwritting files... TBH - i dont want to sound bigheaded - but at this point i dont see anything in UBR that should be implemented into Urbball.

Pats rosters are way better to combine + i think his mod is much more detailed than Hawk and i will use his rosters to create Elite roster. Thx Pat for permission btw.
My thoughts about 1946-60s. Guys really, take a look at stats, those guys wasnt able to shot the ball correctly. One player per team with +20ppg all others 2ppg, all with 40% or under %. Those teams and players SUCKS real bad. Im not even sure it was basketball
Yes i can think of 70s and early 80s....but we(me and slimm) are close to end with modding, 2k14 modding scene is dying, its like live 2008 in 2012. I feel like some kind of dinosour here and tbh feedback is poor.

And last but not least, if you stop modding (which i understand the heavy burden that it is), just keep the new up comming seasons 2018, 2019, 2020... alive.

I'm sorry if I'm bothering, but is there a 2017 roster with the corrected ages and contracts? I saw someone posting one with the correct ages, but I don't know if it got updated on the contracts. Unfortunately, I lost all the game and my saves, now I'm re-installing to pick up on the new season. Can anyone help me?

Age wasnt correct because im using 2016/2017 schedule and game is from 2013...anyway its fixed in 2017 by lowering players ages by 3y.

I just finished pasting my edits for the 1960-1984 teams into the URBElite roster file and sent it to Sko. He has quite a bit of work to do for those teams, then we have about 40 players we are going to add into the FA pool (top 200 players that weren't currently in the roster file) and we'll be done. Do u think you can try Dr Dunkemnstein Darrell Griffith as I would love him desperately. One thing though: Whenever I start an association using the 1985 or 1986 roster, the game crashes to desktop when I go to prospect scouting. I don't think it has anything to do with the draft class, because the game also crashes when I use a draft class that works just fine in another asso (2002 I think). Am I missing an essential bugfix? Did somebody else experience this issue? Maybe somebody can help.

Thanks for the swift reply. But I wasn't talking about the offseason (never got that far, actually). During the regular season, the game crashes when I go to prospect scouting. I guess one fix for that would be just to skip that screen. But since I don't know if there are any consecutive errors, I shy away from starting an association with one of these rosters. Nothing worse than playing 82 games on 12 minute quarters and then the game just randomly giving you the finger with no explanation or debug files. Just crashing for no appraent reason whatsoever. Which is exactly what happened on my 76ers association with UBR. I almost cried.

No biggie, I'm quite happy with the Pacers Association I got going on using the 1989 roster. I also did a "pre-sim" to the next season by which I ensured that no unexpected crashes would occur. I'm really looking forward to lighting it up with Reggie, Chuck and Rik.

Hey, everybody. I'm getting ready to update the 2017 roster. Here are the players that I made new versions for at the beginning of the season and am planning on updating again, soon. If there are more players you would like me to check for updates, please let me know and I'll update them if needed. I'm also going to check every rookie to see if those not on this list need to be updated. Aside from the rookies, I doubt there will be many players to check because this is 120 players.

Awesome slimm !! Not sure if i should mention this to you or skoa. Its about the gameplay and things i feel can be adjusted slightly or want to hear your opinion on ( i use human vs cpu sliders ).

- floaters almost always go in to a rate that seems strange to me
- There is an issue in where both human and cpu misses open shots and layups around the rim when other players are close but not really bothering the shot.
- Players make crazy dunks and blocks which seems a vertical issue but i guess its just a 2k issue

otherwise i think this gameplay is by far the best !! thanks for all
