Trades definitely do get declined. Using the default roster, I just tried trading Thaddeus Young for Al Jefferson straight up (78 for 83 Overall). Bobcats weren't biting.

That's not to say that there aren't bugs with it, of course, but I can confirm that there is logic for the CPU teams to decline trades, and that it does happen.

Thanks for the research Slimm... Hope that u guys will keep modding this epic game the coming year. I will try to do some more crowds during newyear since im not working then. Have been superbusy lately.

Any suggestions on what crowd i should do first ?


I'll mod until the end of the current NBA season, then I'm done.

Maybe it's more random than I thought? Either way, it's a good thing to see some trades being turned down.

I'd say the logic definitely isn't perfect, and that weird stuff does get through from time to time. It's like simulated results: you can run twenty sims and they'll all produce pretty realistic results, then run another five that turn out absolutely ridiculous and unlikely.

Because i was lazy i checked only season mode....and there you can trade all players, no single one rejected offer. Can you please check season mode Andrew?
I must confirm, in asso mode we cant trade Greg Kite for Hakeem Olajuwon, just checked.

Yeah, Season mode allows any and all trades, but that's by design. It's not supposed to have the depth and restrictions of Association.

Really appreciate the work you guys put into these updates! (Y) I don't know if these were fixed yet but I found that Shaun Livingston and Jon Leuer had their names spelled incorrectly in the 2017 and 2016 rosters.

Have you guys considered experimenting with getting player stats into the rosters? I consider it kind of the final frontier that UBR has that URB doesn't. I'm not certain but I believe you can copy the player stats tab, and just assign each player the coordinating stat numbers.

It's not possible. The game will move all of the players' stats a year back. The latest stats you implement will always be 2012-2013 and everything gets pushed back.

What do you mean it isn't possible? It's in UBR. Yes, the most current stat year reads 2012-2013 forward, but you still have the decades of career year by year stat lines, able to be sorted, etc. It's easy to just ignore the one year. When I play a roster, and im sure other people, its nice to be able to pull up a players card, if im not familiar with that player. Rather than everyone just being a blank slate :)

If you're talking about previous stats, it's definitely possible (I had an impression for some reason that you were asking for the current ones, sorry about that). But anything past the 2012-2013 season just won't make it.

Sry but no, rosters are different, its not only copy paste one tab per season + i checked ubr rosters 1-2 year ago and a lot of stats were wrong + like meds said, it will show up current year (2012-2013) in stats for retro rosters anyway so i just dont see any sense in this.
Too many reasons for me.

I will share my knowledge on this subject. its mos def possible to have current year stats to show but its kinda quirky a process to do as you will be tricking the system and im not sure sko and company would wanna go through the process of implementing as their are downsides that have a visual annoying effect on stat reading but nothing that will break the game just an eye sore is all as its something I discovered years ago while working with reddwarf on stat implementation

What do we have to do?
all you have to do med is when you input the stats make sure tht the most recent year says 1916 instead of 2016. this will make it to where when the stats show they will show "15-16" and all stats before it will follow suit. Downside is that being nba championships and all star appearances are attached to it it will now say that if a player won a championship in lets say 2015-2016 it will say instead he won his chip in 1916 or played in his all star game in 1916 and this will affect all championships and allstar appearances that come before that year BUT THIS A GREAT WAY TO HAVE CURRENT STAS SHOW FOR EXHIBITION GAMES AND DURING ASSOCIATION ON PLAYER CARDS ONLY. When playin association the most current stat for that season will still say 13-14 but right under it if you do what I have stated that player will have stats saying 15-16 14-15 13-14 12-13 etc etc. Also during association this will take away cutscenes when the game decides to show last years avgs for a player because once again last year to the game is 2013 but the stats you implemented are gonna be read as 1916 stats so its an eyesore as stated but nothing to break the game. Could be included for those who may want to add stats to players. hope you guys understand (Y) (Y) Keep it going med LOVE YOUR WORK. I know sko and slim are gonna retire soon as I have ALL U GUYS STUFF INSTALLED even though im from UBR im no hater lol I know quality work when I see it and all you guys are awesome :bowdown:

Quick note: My Career mode is most crashable mode ever. Many users reports crashes in MC mode. Im right now before playoffs in mycareer, never notice crash or any other bug. What to do? Well first of all, i was never using "play next key game". Im always using "play next game". I was never using HD cfs. In My career mode we shouldnt use any custom scoreboard. Follow the rules and your game wont crash.
BTW. One issue i cant fix, first name is blank, you can fix it by using redmc.

If only we can just edit this in the english.iff. While it's awesome to see, I don't really want to do it unless there's a high demand for it.

First name being blank is because of the base you are using. The only way to fix this is to go back a few versions where it was alright, and paste all of your rows except the MyPlayer row in that roster. It's troublesome, I know. You can also try to copy and paste the entire MyPlayer row from the working version of your roster in the past and see if it works.
