Let's make one more simple test.

Download this english.iff file..... restart game.... make a screenshot and upload.

Then we will compare color changes of the scoreboard, maybe this will help to find out the problem.

Rename this file to german.iff - restart game.

Just chiming in on the stuttering issue.

R9390 owner here and I would get really hard hangups usually whenever I brought the ball past half court. Very quick dips down to the mid 20s and then it'd shoot back up to 60. That only happened when I ran at 1440p supersampled. I brought it down to 1080p and so far I haven't had any stuttering issues. So for the people who did have those issues, were you running the game higher than 1080p?

no changes at all. aaaaaah this makes me crazy... I do not have any idea, why the stratum font is resistent for modding in this case :/

Wait, I thanked and recommended TBM a while ago, but I don't know if his file changed anything for me. It could've been placebo, lol.

Edit: Sorry guys, I pulled a placebo on you. I guess I have the issue too. This is my scoreboard using the "quick test" english.iff exrxixxx posted a few comments ago and I have the same issue as the other guys.



I too am from Europe, Romania. Bought my CD-KEY online, from a local digital store. Because of the price I strongly believe the CD-KEY was bought from the russian stores.
Every setting I have in-game/in-steam is set to english, Romania doesn't appear anywhere. Looking through the settings, I've noticed my registered gmail adress for the 2K account has my real location, Romania. Maybe that's how 2K would know where we come from but I really doubt it.
Maybe someone can figure it out.

Ultimately it is not so bad for me. The scoreboard looks phenomenal despite the wrong font. I'm very excited about the first ESPN screenshots. Maybe there are similar font problems there.

Exactly. I fired up the game and checked the scoreboard using TBM's english.iff but the scoreboard looked so stunning, I didn't even consider the fact that the font is the same as the default. I was looking and textures, foul panels, etc and it blew my mind.

Could post anybody who has the correct modded font working an sxrrenshot with the in game video settings, please? I will compare it and continue testing.

Disconnected from the internet and fired up my game in offline mode, didn't solve the issue. It must be something burried deep down there.

Can TMP.BIN in userdata safely be deleted? Maybe deleting that would refresh it.

I wouldn't risk toying with the userdata files but it would worth a try if anyone has the guts.
I wonder if the people using the pirated game have this issue.

deleted it, started the game, file appears in the folder.
But no change on the scoreboard.

TBM, do you get any NBASTORE.EU ads show up in game using the default dornas?

Interesting. So is it just the people outside of USA that can't get it to work? Can anyone else from USA confirm that it works for them?

So far everyone that it hasn't worked for is outside of the US, yeah. I don't know where exrxixxx is from but since it works for him, I'll assume the US (or maybe Canada).

Do you have the english.iff file TBM uploaded on sendspace? If you do then it looks like it's only working for TBM and exrxixxx.

well for me bro, i might not be, to be honest i'm not sure even how to check, i had just grabbed the modded folder, when you first released it, and i never updated. that could be the issue but in order for that to happen is it safe to assume that i just over write all the files in modded folder ?

edit November 6, is when i installed this according to my folder options, and i haven't touched those 3 files since.

well edit again... i made back ups of the original, re downloaded, over wrote the 3 files, loaded the game up and im still on skinny font as the pic above so unless there's something i'm missing then im not sure, and my copy came directly from steam itself.

There's also a bug on the scoreboard. The "bonus" overlay that was for NBATV is still there.

OK another question:
Which graphic cards do you tbm and exrxixxx have, an which driver version is installed?
I have Nvidia gtx670 OC with actual driver.
CPU is an Intel I7 4770K. 16 GB RAM.
