Jesus am I sick of those backdoor mistakes, there's gotta be something wrong with player acceleration or change in direction speed because it happens way way way too often. I just had a rage quit because of a streak of those and then I got a defensive rebound and tried to outlet to my SG right next to my bigman under the basket with nobody around them, and instead of a handoff pass it did a legit pass (they were no more than 5 ft away from each other) and I don't even know how but the SG had to change direction and ended up out of bounds. Like what?
Reducing backdoor cuts doesn't seem to help either because really he's not cutting he's just running down the court and your big on D is just retarded trying to pick him up at the 3. Bigs don't seem to sag off properly when they should, and they're so slow that if they get out of position the whole possession may as well be 4v5.
I'm basically going to rant this whole post about various issues that have made me not able to play more than 1 game at a time:

Big man transition defense leading to easy backdoor passes and buckets. Stated already above.

Loose balls and general AI awareness. I've noticed this for quite a few years. Ball gets loose with 3 of your teammates around it, and only 1 opposing player, your players stand around like idiots, opposing player gets the ball without contest basically.

Transition offense. Every single numbered fast break ends in a Russel Westbrook type stop and pop from mid range. They never seem to actually make a nice advantage in numbers transition play. How many 2k releases in a row have we been told the fast break is improved?

As stated above as well, on the user side, your CPU teammates far too often seem to fade to the 3 instead of filling the lane to the basket. Even players that have never taken a 3 in their career. Over all the entire transition gameplay seems completely broken tbh. I don't see give and goes or nice 2/3 on 1's that end like they should. I swear last years transition offense was better.

I just started seeing the moving charges recently, and yea they're annoying. I'm sure sliders will help, as I never saw legit charges anyways, turning them down shouldn't be a problem.

Teammate help and defensive rotations. I've noticed a few times now that if you're defending an off ball player and sag off too much (but not an unrealistic amount), sometimes your teammate will rotate to cover the player, but from somewhere far away and leave a player who actually can shoot from deep wide open. Why would they rotate to help an a off ball player who is not a threat from deep? Secondly your teammates take far too long to realize when you've switched due to screens or getting out of position. Usually they run half way to the target you've switched to before realizing you have switched, then they turn around and go back to the player they should have been covering. This back and forth and indecisiveness leads again to pretty much a 4v5 for a few seconds.

Maybe I've missed it, but is there no inside pass frequency slider? I don't want to decrease passing attribute and offensive AI but there seems to be wayyy too many threading the needle inside passes to guys down low. Maybe position actually means something this year, which would be great, except how do you fix the CPU getting easy position down low then?

Big men speed/acceleration/movement. I talked about this already a bit, and I do appreciate the fact that big guys don't feel like giant Allen Iverson's, but it's just too far off and results in some ugly ball in other areas. I've played a great deal with the Knicks, and so Noah is where I've seen this example the most. There could be a loose ball 5 ft away from him under the basket, and the CPU will get to it from the 3 pt line with time to spare before Noah gets to it, even though he's 7 ft and should almost be able to reach out and touch the ball w/o moving. This slowness affects second chances, loose balls, 3 in the keys, defensive rotations, etc. I don't want him running the fast break or defending PG's but he's an absolute disaster to have on the court. He's supposed to be a hustle player, a defensive rock and he's pretty much a liability in every area other than the odd rebound. I've yelled at Noah a ridiculous amount of times for him just looking stupid.

Minor gripes that may not affect everybody: The same game has been released how many times in a year now? Yet for some reason all of a sudden I can't play the game on max settings with a 970 and 3570k? Before lowering crowd detail to lowest I couldn't finish a game because it would become a slideshow in the 4th quarter (indicating a memory leak I would assume?). I've read the Nvidia thread and didn't see much that helped other than lowering crowd detail. Secondly player responsiveness. I see people raving about the ball handling and I just don't see it. Post moves feel delayed and sloppy, dribbling doesn't feel much better. And sometimes I can't do a simple triple threat size up move or anything for no reason. I can repeatedly jab on the stick to do a jab step and it may take me 3 or 4 attempts before the player actually does anything.
I initially was playing on a much lower setting and was having some fun, but winning too often, and even in losses FG% was wayy too high for both teams. Tried bumping up to Hall of Fame and was missing even open shots mostly due to release timing and couldn't find a RealPlayer release setting. And the cheese was just too much.
