Especially when you look at performance in 4K. My 3770@4.1ghz with a GTX 1080 gets about 30-40fps in 4K. The PS4 Pro is going to be running 4K/60fps and it's half the power of my PC.

is this after the last patch (1.05) or after using Syncinatti's settings?

I see no performance improvementsFullscreen Windowed is esential to get OK FPS, but I still have to keep my AA to 1. Even when I do this, there are some cutscenes which have visibile fps drops. My rig should run the game maxed out.

The latest Nvidia driver allows my 980 GTX to have fast sync, and it's a game changer. Hooked up to my TV I can now game in 1080p @ 80 FPS with zero tearing. It's totally badass. It's like getting Free Sync without the need for an AMD Freesync display.
Same here but with my GTX 1060.
I always loathed playing on my TV due to the tearing but with Fast Sync it's totally gone an I honestly can't feel the input lag, at least with a controller!

- Turn v-sync off in game and in Nvidia CP.
- Cap FPS to 60 with MSI afterburner
Have to say that the game is really demanding. My 1080 load is around 80-90% during cut scenes @ 1440p

One thing is for sure – NBA 2K17 has some sort of non-standard vertical sync as such since the game runs different depending where and how you chose to enable Vertical Sync – game runs worse when you have Vertical Sync enabled both in Nvidia Control Panel and in in- game video settings, but it runs smoother when you set Nvidia Control Panel Vertical Sync to “Use 3-D application setting” (although it should be the same!)
Nonetheless this testing of Fast Sync helped me fine-tune NBA 2K17 settings even further. Changing “Virtual Reality pre-rendered frames” from “Use 3-D application setting” to “1” reduce input lag and the overall performance seems to be even smoother.

seanbarkley, do you still use this combination of settings (Vsync OFF both in NCP and in game) with cap set @60FPS ?
You get 100% smooth image throughout the whole game (gameplay, cut-scenes, halftime dunk show, replays) ?

My goodness, it's like night and day now with how smooth the game moves.
The secret?
FAST_TEXTURE_FORMAT_CONVERSION = 1
Even though I have an Nvidia 1080, the game was stuttering like crazy but after lots of testing I've finally found that changing fast texture format conversion from the default 0 to 1 it has changed the game completely.
