I modified Chris Freeman. He's been the Bulls star. But he fouled out in the first 10 seconds of overtime. Rookie Mike Pierce scored 24 points in the three overtime periods to lead the Bulls to an 8 point triple overtime victory.

The headlines all mentioned "overtime" rather than "triple overtime" victory.

Freeman fouled out 10 seconds into the first overtime. Pierce had 24 of 39 points in the three overtimes. But I can see why the headlines mentioned Freeman as leading the team to victory - he still ended the game with 36 points to Freeman's 38 and 19 rebounds.
