Seriously they need to step this shit up. DIGITAL copies should not be MORE EXPENSIVE than physical copies. PC gaming is supposed to be cheaper. Yes we can go to shady ass websites and buy black market keys (often times they purchase with stolen credit card then re-sell it, search g2a on youtube if you want to know more). Best buy GCU and Amazon Prime have 20% off all games but we can't get this for a PC digital download?

Not only that, but digital was supposed to be faster. Yet they're delaying play from digital versions until physical copies, or at least physical boxes containing keys, are shipped.

Same price and no quicker delivery = no advantage for digital delivery.

The only game they're playing is charging Australian customers more pre-discount, and then offering a discount so it seems like a big saving. It seems everyone else is just getting the RRP when they log in. Like I said though, that's enough for me to reconsider dealing with them in the future...though they did once offer the entire Tomb Raider series up for $20, which I took advantage of. I'll have to give them that. It's been a while since I've made a really good saving with them though, and I guess that now I know why.

I'm from Germany and I never buy any Game from a German Store, becaus the € Prices aren't much better than the Austrialien Prices. Just buy from NA/EU Stores and don't pay the Aussie-Tax.

That's what I did this year, buying directly from the 2K Store. It was the best price in AUD at the time I pre-ordered.

I'm not sure where to buy, yet. If there is no preload, the 50-60GB Download will take at least 2 Days for me. I'll probably wait and see which Keyseller sends out Keys first.

When I try to redeem on Steam, it says "Sorry, but the following items are not available for purchase in this country. Your purchase has been cancelled."

Anyone else? I'm in the US and it said it was a global code.

I was gonna preorder it off steam, turns out no money.. Was thinking about cdkeys at first but I didn't wanna go out and pay like half of it to have the possibility to be screwed. I have to wait a bit until I can taste 2k17 greatness

If you've purchased from a less-than-reputable site, the problem is more likely with them than 2K.

I believe so too, but I can't activate NBA 2K17 itself through Steam. I emailed their support and maybe they'll be able to do something, but I'm not feeling hopeful at this point of time. We'll see and I'll try to post any updates.

Pretty sure that CD key won't include the pre order bonus. If you really want to buy it make sure to get confirmation first. I got mine off of Gamesplanet, got my game key and pre order content locker code in a matter of minutes:
