Complete Real 150 prospect 2016 class (2017 Class also available)

Postby dwayne12345 on Sat Sep 26, 2015 4:11 am

Hey all. I'm just coming over from the console version on 2k15 where I made real draft classes from 2015-2021 last year. It's cool because I watched a bunch of footage and read a lot of scouting reports, so I already have a good idea about a lot of these kids games.

Anyway if you don't know, I try to get as close to realistic looking players as I can and update throughout the season. I do tendencies, sigs, shoe brand, badges, faces, real measurements, birthday/age and attributes (everything lol). I will update this post with information on all the completed prospects below.

NEW: I have added Cyberfaces to a few of the players in the draft that I felt had CF's that are closer to their real look than the create a player adjustments allow. Here's the list:
Ben Simmons
Dragan Bender
Antonio Blakeney
Dwayne Bacon - added tattoos
Frank Ntilikina
Dennis Smith
Luke Kennard

Al right guys. I've been grinding on this class and I'm now at 51 fully edited real life prospects.

All of the none real guys are rated overall in the 50's with a potential no higher than 65.

If anyone sees any issues with the class, CAPs, attributes, sigs, or badges please let me know.

Cheers

Hey man, i've been using your draft class in an Association where i simmed ahead 4 years, and the quality is really good. Just wanted to say good job!

It's a shame you put 2015 in the title instead of 2016, or it would probably get more downloads from that 2k list :P

Yea I'm not sure if I should just go ahead and change it now with a new upload. Did you notice anybody exceeding their potential by chance?

Sorry for double post:

If you downloaded the draft class before I added Danuel House you should redownload it now.

I changed the name of the class because of my mistake.

Have you considered doing fictional draft classes after the 2016 and 2017 ones?

Yea sure. I've got a couple more players that I have to put in my '16 and '17 classes. But I don't want to make too many classes before the 1st patch comes out just in case they fix some of the issues with create a draft class. In case any devs see this and aren't aware:

- Every prospect has 'Jump Shot 1' as their Shot base by default.
- Can't edit right wrist items
- Tendencies for Shot Under the Basket and 3point hot spots changes don't apply
- Players from Belgium don't play for the World team in the draft prospect off season game

So I'd hate to start on a fictional class and realize that I have to start over for any of those fixes to take effect. It's not an issue for my real classes since I'm editing every prospect anyway.

Are you doing this through the game's create-a-draft-class feature and then creating each player individually or using another piece of software to create a spreadsheet of information or something and then importing it into the game? I ask because I have a list of 46 legends who aren't in the game but I would like to create, but sitting there and doing them one by one in the create-a-player feature built into the game seems like a waste of time, there should be software that will do this.

I wish I had something like that. No I'm just going one by one creating each player individually inside the draft class. For players who are freshman and may leave earlier than the 2017 class I'm using Create-A-Player.

Ah okay. I'm HOPING that Greg's roster editor will come with a feature like this, but I'm not counting on it. Might just have to jump in and start creating guys the hard way.

Hey all,

Just reached 100 fully edited prospects for this year's class! I'm kind of running out of guys to put in actually lol.

80 College Players - 20 International Prospects

If you trust that I put a lot of time into these I would suggest that you download the class for your MyGM/MyLeague without looking at the ratings, potentials, or tendencies. It will make your draft more realistic. Who you taking with the #1 pick? Ben Simmons, Skal Labissiere, Dragan Bender? Maybe you trade out and reach back for a Malik Newman or Dwayne Bacon cause they're a better team fit... Either way it's more realistic for you if you don't know for sure what these guys are rated.

Non-spoiler rating breakdowns if you still don't trust the parody of the class.

Overall ratings:
17 players rated 70+
30 players between 66-69 rating
37 players between 60-65 rating
16 players between 56-59 rating

Potential ratings:
8 players 80+ potential
18 players 75-79 potential
27 players 70-74 potential
29 players 66-69 potential
17 players 60-65 potential
1 player lower than 60 potential

Individual rating grades:

SHOOTING
0 prospects with 3PT grade of B+ or more
1 prospect with 3PT grade of B
5 prospects with 3PT grade of B-
6 prospects with 3PT grade of C+
7 prospects with 3PT grade of C
9 prospects with 3PT grade of C-
6 prospects with 3PT grade of D+

ATHLETICISM
2 prospects with Physical grade of A- or more
2 prospects with Physical grade of B+
7 prospects with Physical grade of B

Physical
10 prospects with Physical grade of B-
8 prospects with Physical grade of C+
20 prospects with Physical grade of C
13 prospects with physical grade of C-

12 New prospects done. I'm at 112 and I'm inching ever closer to completing a fully edited (down to each tendency) real 150 man draft class.

Just 38 more to go.

If you downloaded the draft class before today you might want to re-download it. I have finally finished editing and creating every prospect in the class.

Every player is a real prospect. All 150. Info in first post
