hi, is the lag time during a pass been fixed? In 2004, after strong pass to the post the post player has a lag in reaction time thereby allowing the CPU to collapse on him. I've been burned many times passing to an open Yao Ming only to have him stand there like a dummy; either I get 3-sec or forced to kick out

good info MinneBaller, :applaud: (Y)
one question.
In order to be introduced to an all-star game, you have to have all-star numbers, in order to get invited to a rook/soph game, you gotta be a good rook/soph. but in order to get in the dunk contest you have to show off good dunks?!, and 3-pt contest good 3-pt fg.%?!

Thanks for the overall review, seems like you had a good time over there.

I always played NBA Live on the keyboard, but with all these freestyle in air and Slam Dunk Contest Jibba Jabba Junk, that will almost be impossible to do on a keyboard so I guess I will have to get a gamepad afterall

The headband thing is great, you dont have to edit it in the DBF files all the time, and I hope that the headbands will fit on all headshapes.

So MinnesotaBaller,

How were you choosen to actually even attend the EA SPORTS summit? Also, I believe your Air Fair, Hotel Reservations, were all taken care of by EA?

So how about fast breaks? Do the recievers let the ball bounce, or do they stop and jump 5 feet in the air to catch it?

Thanks for the writeup. Good read. One question, are there over the back fouls? On rebounds that is?

You prolly have to have good 3pt %, I am not quite sure how you get invited to the Slam Dunk comp.

They noticed I posted on several boards, and saw I had great NBA Live knowledge.

They still jump, but its not as time consuming. Also if you throw a long pass there is more of a chance it will be picked off or be thrown out of bounds.

Didn't see any.

FOR MINNESOTABALLER: Bro sorry if i will repeat my question??? Will EA install the same Rim & NET that we saw in their pre-rendered movie trailer?? Did they assured it??

These are small things but very vital to the game in terms of realism plus it will add a great feeling after u have a successful ringless field goal...

I HOPE THEY WILL FIX IT & ADAPT THE SAME PHYSICS of the trailer......

I did sim a season. Detriot repeated, i didn't check out MVP, ROY, ext...

Don't take this too seriously, because the rating were not polished or close to being finished. So the outcome of a simutated season will probabely differ when you purchase it.

I have a question about the socks in the game. Like I remember that all the teams that were away had on black socks knowing that some teams have white socks on the road. So did you notice in change like where the teams that suppose to wear white socks on the road had on white socks and the teams that suppose to wear black socks had on black. Since you said you played Twolves vs. Nuggets, the Nuggets would wear the white away socks and the Twolves would wear white too. I know it's not an important issue, but it's the little things that counts.

Good update. :)

Glad to see that you can edit headbands, that was one of the main things I wanted.

I've got one question, are there cutscenes during games like in Live 03?

I didn't play close attention to socks, sorry.

Great read my man! That shit has pumped me up EVEN MORE for '05. Do you know what 6 shooting types are in the 5-on-5? Is Reggie one of them??? (please say yes) did you get into the jerseys in the store? Anything new? Again great job. EA has finally got their act together,at least we'll find out in Oct.!!

No idea what the 6 different shooting styles are, sorry.

But as for Jerseys I saw a good amount of them, but look to see if there were any new ones.

Since they had you guys demo the game for the xbox. Does that mean the game will be the best on xbox????

DId they mention at all how the game would be on different systems??

And...........

Is the framrate problem gone from last year???? (I hope u know what i'm talking about, the game would kind of stutter along when there was too much happening at once.)

thanks for the great report by the way!
