@madball, I am definitely enjoying all the facets of this mod. I thank everyone including you for the efforts and contributions. Just wanted to say that the Asso mode had some issues there but again it's not affecting the fun factor. (Y)

But guys, thank you for this mod. I have been following it and it is true is this is probably the best mod I've seen in all these years to that speaks highly of the creators. :D

I_am_JD, asso mode have ONE BIG ISSUE, thx 2k again. After first year all rotations/minutes switch to default, probably other major things also, this is why i always recommend season mode.

What makes this mod “sim”? Here are a few of the features that set this project apart from all others:

- Every art file (jerseys, arenas, cyberfaces, accessories, courts, dornas (advertisement at half court), etc is realistic and none will crash game play
- There is no missing art file in the entire project

Every player in every roster has:
- Accurate statistical ratings and tendencies to work with 2k's simulation engine while still providing realistic game play
- Realistic ratings and tendencies that affect game play but not the simulation engine ie dribbling, athletic ratings, post tendencies, etc.
- Realistic physical attributes that decrease after major injuries or as the player gets older
- Accurate play types
- Accurate contracts

- Accurately updated Coaching profiles and playbooks

- Draft classes that have realistic player information for every player

- A few slider sets designed to be a base for realistic game play

I have a rather odd question.

One thing I like to do with sports games is something I call Time Machine. To take a great player from the past or perhaps an entire team, and make them play in current day.

In the past, before I found the URB mod, I would do this by following the exact procedure used by this guy in this video:

Basically I would start a new Association, give it a name, then exit the game.

I would then open this editor (not the REDitor, this is an earlier version that someone put out right as NBA2K13 was new I believe). This is a screenshot of that roster editor: http://www.moddingway.com/screenshots/f ... 23/big.jpg

Then I would find for example Hakeem Olajuwon, and set his "player type" to 2 (which I believe makes him an "un-hidden" player), then finding the current Rockets center and setting his player type to 0, then editing the team tab and replace the current Rocket center's player ID with Olajuwon's. Now I can play that association with Olajuwon as starting center for Houston, in the 2013 season. Another thing you can do is not replace the current center, just rather add Olajuwon as an extra player to the team. Of course doing it this way I have to make him play in the 2013 NBA season, since NBA2k13 defaults to that when you start a new Association.

What I am wondering is, how I might be able to do this with the URB rosters. If I wanted to make Hakeem the starting center for Houston, in your FinalURB2015.ROS.

I tried using the same procedure but it looks like this editor I was using cannot "see" all of the fields properly in the URB roster. I noticed some player names are empty, and on the Teams tab it doesn't seem to see much of anything. So I downloaded the REDitor, have not activated it so not all features are unlocked. But I do not know my way around it very well yet, and I think the equivalent of the "player type" field may be called something else.

With your roster I guess what I would be wanting to do would be to start a new Season rather than Association, select the FInalURB2015.ROS, then try to add Olajuwon to the Rockets.
Is it possible to do?

MrMojok69, i think if you will be patient and wait few weeks(maybe two) you will be able to do some things in game, without using redmc or roster editor.
But if you want it right now, all you have to do is find Olajuwon using redmc(free version), find Olajuwons IsFA cell input "1" there + set "-1" TeamID1 and TeamID2. Save roster file, load in game, assign Olajuwon from FA pool. But remember this Olajuwon using default 2k ratings/tendencies etc.

Guys i never ask about donations, but right now and in the near future i need some cash for redmc(not only 2k13 :wink: ) and there is one more thing. Yesterday i emailed Vlad and asked him about possibility of editable draft class files for 2k13. Because 2k13/14, but 2k13 for sure is old gen and probably not many modders would like to buy new features for 2k13, i mentioned about bigger donation for him if he will work on this- its not easy, remember that Vlad finally did this after two years- its hell out of work. I never force things, all im asking is your consideration. If Vlad refuse, me and slimm will spent at least 4h on one draft class, because all players will have to be edit manually in game. 4hx31 draft class=120H of editing. Very often we are editing 4h per day so it can be one month of editing. With editable dc files in redmc it can be 1-2 days. I dont have to mention how awesome thing is draft class players with ratings/tendencies/touches/playstyles based on real stats.

Thanks Sko, that was exactly what I was looking for. However I had not thought about him having the default 2K tendencies and settings in the URB roster. It might make him into some kind of invincible superman!

MrMojok69, you already made one, cant ask you about this.
About Olajuwon, no, its not about superman mode for Olajuwon, its more like out of the system player, because right now all players in all rosters running with the same unique formula. But all players which are available in game, not in files. All players without slimms formula are hidden- Olajuwon is one of them in 2015 roster.

man, i made one small mistake about which mods should have tight jerseys. first i told you all the mods until 1989 mod, but now i looked into it more deeply and i see also 1989/1990 season with same style.

so please expand tight jerseys for 1990 mod also. that means every mod in URB from 1985 until 1990. pics from 1989/1990 season as a proof:

- scott brooks fired as thunder headcoach;

- mirza teletović back in active roster rotation for the nets after pulmonary embolism;

- bojan bogdanović again starting SG for the nets instead of alan anderson;

- it seems rajon rondo is done with the mavs (apparently he said "either me, either carlisle goes");

but you should also apply mirza teletović back to regular 2015 roster also, since he's back and he didn't miss whole season (just 3 months and during that period you removed him from roster, no sense not to put him back again since he's back).

Hey Sko,

This may already have been addressed, or it may be something that I did myself (?!), but I was playing a 1996 season, quick-simming some games, playing other games, and I noticed that everyone was beating the Bobcats (the team that has all default players) by scores of 110-34, etc. I had a game coming up against them and when it started I found out why. I exited and then restarted the game in coach mode to try to grab some video:

'96 Bulls vs Default Bobcats

I could not change them by editing players within the game because that option is missing for them. And now that I'm in a season I don't seem to be able to use REDmc to edit the season file I'm playing with. Do you know any quick way I can fix this?

The best part was, a couple minutes later they did the same thing and one of the announcers said "Well, it looks like they have a big advantage in the paint" and I about died laughing. That was a huge understatement :lol:

These guys appear to be some kind of physical anomaly. They are all 2 feet three inches tall, but they all weight 208 pounds. They are made of the densest material in the universe.

AHHH THEY'RE ADORABLE

Putting the Bobcats like that guarantees that they'll be irrelevant til those contracts run out--which should be the year the NBA expanded.

Bear in mind this is the 95-96 season, so what is really amazing is that I guess Jordan is both:

A) Destroying the Bobcats from within, in his management position in the future in 2004
B) Raining hellfire on the poor Shortmen with 56 points on 28 of 30 shooting in the current year 1996

It has caused a rip in the space-time continuum, and the fabric of reality is ripped asunder. A team from the future jumps ten years into the past, only to find that they have lost all their hair, 95% of their previous physical dimensions, pretty much all of their abilities, but none of their mass.

MrMojok69, Because of my poor english i can missunderstand something. But i will try my best. So the problem are Bobcats but also Toronto, Vancouver, Miami, Orlando, Minnesota,right? We cant remove mentioned teams from the schedule. But we need to keep those teams away from playoffs(for Bobcats in years 1984-2004) not only because this team doesnt exist, but because of default players. We need to keep all default players away from league leaders, high stats etc, no1 wants to see default player with default face in all star game, right? So their ovr ratings are set low 25, also potential low. Another thing, because all rosters have implemented current schedule(now its not visible because we are in playoff time) and sometimes in NBA Today we can see expansion teams like Bobcats(we all dont want this), so to see this result:

i lower their height. All games against Bobcats or any other expansion team should be simply simulated, what is the fun in playing against default players with 25 ovr with generic cyberfaces when this team wasnt even exist before 2004. Believe me this is the best way.
