Wow, this is incredible!
I just registered to say thank you. So a big thank you skoadam & slimm44!
I played like five full games so far and I really enjoy the gameplay. It's smoother than 2k14 and I feel more in control, especially when dribbling, so good choice of game. Individual play styles work superbly, I can't give Ray Allen an inch of space or he's draining jumpers all over, Kobe takes midrange J's off the dribble and Nash, Finley, Harden kill me with step back threes everytime I fuck up with my perimeter defense, it's really tough to guard people who are a threat to shoot & drive, just like it should be. Maybe post players don't get quite enough touches, I haven't seen much of an inside-out game yet (and I played vs the Shaq Lakers), but that has been a problem with 2K since I can remember (started with 2K6).
I find it very hard to prevent the AI from getting up inside shots & Layups but really easy to make 'em miss those and on the oher end I similarily have lots of trouble finishing in the paint when defenders are nearby but that may just be me trying to adjust to a new game after almost 2 years of 2K14. I play with your sliders. Maybe playing most of my games with peak Garnett on the 04 Wolves had a tiny effect on making opponents miss those shots, though.
Also the accuracy of signature shots & moves is great!
If I may I have two quesions/requests.
Are you planning to do/ could you please / can you tell me how to...
1. create a roster of the best/ most exciting teams from different years? I'd like to play a season with the 07 Suns vs the 91 Bulls, 87 Lakers, 99 Spurs, 96 Magic, etc (you get the idea). As of now I know how to play with the 95 Spurs against the 95 Magic but I can't play with the 95 Spurs gainst the 96 Magic for example.
2. create a fantasy draft roster. The peak versions of all the good, very good & great players found in your various rosters assembled in one single roster. Since it'd be only for fantasy draft purposes I wouldn't care about player allocation on teams (but from what I've read, skoadam isn't one to not care about details

). I'm aware this will pose difficulty with playbooks but in 2K14 it worked decently with borad general playbooks for all teams, not that all teams have to get the same playbook, but they need a wide array of plays to accomodate every draftable player. This is basically the only game mode I played in the last year, as I enjoy coming up with new team concepts and always plaing against great & legendary opponents (I'm already annoyed at giving so many minutes to Mark Madsen and Ervin Johnson...).
I've never done any 2K editing outside of the ingame options, so Im basically a noob on that front. I'm not new to video game editing in general as I edit tactics and maintain a classic roster for a football (soccer) game from 2006, so I agree with choosing better games over newer ones.
Due to the quality you guys provided, I don't think I'll have to get another Bball game for quite a while.
Sorry for the long post, mainly wanted you to know what you do (and the quality of it!) is appreciated.
cheers.
