I think that ultimately having the teams listed alphabetically, by school name, is the best bet -- it may cause some work in setting up a Season/Dynasty, but if you're able to get every team in and set up as you wish, the way reme is saying, I think that's reasonable (again, I haven't even looked at it in-game, so I have no idea). Whatever works, though.
Having some problems but still working on it.
FYI: the game defaults to the team name alphabetically, not the city (nba) or school (ncaa) name. Even though you took the time to set up the divisions alphabetically by city name, they are all out of order because they list in-game by team name.
I was able to change teams no problem but crashed when trying to advance in season mode. I will make sure divisions are all in order by team name for further tests.
one last thing, could you consider my earlier request to put the school name on all the non classic ncaa teams, like is done with the wildcats, etc because there are more than one wildcat team. The reason for this request is we have current and classic teams of the same name ie: OKST and in game it only shows as Cowboys. So if you don't know the order of the teams, you don't know if you are adding the current or classic cowboys team.
If the current team had the OKST next to cowboys like ARIZ is next to wildcats, you would know it is the current team, not the classic. Any ncaa team that also has a classic team would need this to be done. in default mode it actually list 01, 02 Celtics etc for the classic teams, so it is easy to differentiate.
Will let you know about my attempts with your roster after recording the division by team name
