when will i be able to control my player and not feel like he stuck in animations, when is defense going to ever kick in,why the cpu do any and everything to cheat its way to victory, can some one explain this stuff

Probably because NO game is a perfect simulation of what the real game is. And there probably won't be "that game" until we get something like quantum processing, so they can build a great physics engine that doesn't rely fully on animations, or relies very little on it. You can say "Hey madden has a physics system in place", well it's not NEAR a true physics system that can accurately compute the mass of a player, the speed and angle in switch he is running and then be able to compute how fast that player, at that mass and speed, can stop. Animations are what we have right now and I believe the best they will be able to do, until we get to that "quantum level", is to try to hide the strings a bit better.

Go play basketball irl or make your own perfect game mate.

It sounds like you're just not very good at it.

not looking for perfection just a game that don't cheat its way to victory

of course i expect this from nlsc team member,oh god these fanboys are a trip

I am no fanboy and I didn't noticed any "cheating for victory" as well. Games aren't (usually) won in the first quarter - and runs happen, especially when you have this fake feeling of comfort in closing minutes with let's say 10 point lead.
In past month I haven't played a game in which some team would do some run that would feel scripted or "cheating".
Sure they tried to go on a run, but smart defence, milking the clock and taking smart shots on offence didn't let me down.

well i'm glad you such an expert but,for someone who is not i would expect the learning curve to be simpler, and where is this defense people keep talking about,i run def. plays i stay infront of my man, even try double team, nothing,it's like my player just stands there and watch him go by,it's not always like this but,i liked 2k14 better

Prior to the patch majority of cpu shots came at the last few second of the shot clock. Still can't understand how some enjoyed that. If you didn't tweak sliders cpu grabbed a good portion of offensive rebounds mixed with auto put backs. Momentum aka input lag was just horrible.
Now with new patch things have changed. 2k15 plays a decent brand of basket ball. Still a ton of legacy issues that will never go away.
Op if you are playing on anything higher than all star you do not have a reason to complain. Well documented that superstar and HOF give cpu rating boost. With SS and HOF bullshit is programmed to happen and cpu has far greater odds to win. You start playing 2k bball instead of real bball tactics.
Once you realize the game runs on rails it becomes slot easier. Swallow the pride, lower difficulty and enjoy non bs 2k. Tweak the sliders in favor of the cpu.

I'm sorry that you aren't any good. You'll get better. Keep practicing.

I finally played a game where I managed to come back from 18 points down to at least 2 points. Got them in foul trouble early in the fourth and it was back and forth in a while. I still lost because I couldn't hit my shots in the last two minutes (and them getting a BS and-1 call).
