Remade STOECK's floor - 2014-2015 - 7 floors

Hey, I remade STOECK's Washington Wizards floor as the team has new court design this year 2014-2015.

a) Remade HEAT floor, similar as in 2014-2015 season. This time 2k default file was edited.
b) Updated ROCKETS floor (Stoek's floor).
c) Remade Bobcats floor to Hornets
d) Remade Cavs floor to Warriors

For the warriors, the sideline "Warriors" has changed positions, the wood tone is different, and the yellow seems darker

To be honnest I have tried 2K15, but it is so PC resources demanded and it is not moddable yet, so I was kindly surprised how good 2K14 is after I switched back after two weeks of playing'15.
For today 2K14 has way better gameplay and other stuff (modding capabilities)

ERIXXX, question.. do u use HOS for reflections ?

the thing is that i only edit row 6 myself for the reflections because i dont really now what the other rows do.. in for example the lakers arena i would like the lights from the arena to reflect on the floor... do u know if that should be edited in maybe row 5 and 7 __??

I do not use HOS at all.
I use HEX editor, explore the file and change some values to gain reflections to my liking,

In the end I think both softwares should be OK to gain same results as both of them edits hex values, but with HOS you never know what you are editing, opposite to hex editing (only if you have some experience).

In hex editor search for the first instance of

You will find something similar as

Subsitute last characters in the third row. In this example substitute 80 3f to something bigger. 40 40 or 80 40 would be OK.

Then search for the second instance of same

ff ff ff ff
Again substitute last characters in third row.

Let's say do that trick for the first 10 instances in the file and you will gain more reflections on the floor.
This is semi-blind method, so you will put more reflections on the paint lines, 3pt lines, etc.,
but If you know what are you doing, then it is only necessary to change values for those parts that are responsible for parquet.
It could be 2nd, 3rd and 5th instances (of fffffff000 what we are searching) or some others. It depends on floor file as all of them differs.

One more uupdate.

More contrast in colours between main parquet and 3pt areas.

Two photos from the same game. Colors differs. But they actually are much more lighter in reality than colours you see on TV.
TV broadcasters use some color filters or something.
Anyway, this is stoeck's floor and I am pretty happy with his red colour level choise

I would say 3PT area is completely white. Will try to update Rockets floor with even more contrast.

Thank you exrxixxx. To be honest - I still play 2K13 - I tried 2K15, but it's impossible to play it on keyboard (I hate pads). So I stayed with NBA 2K13 - fortunately for me, 99% of mods directly made for 2K14 works perfectly fine in my game, so...I'm happy
