For any issue that you had without the patches that was resolved with Patch 1 but came back with Patch 2, try setting FAST_TEXTURE_TRANSFER = 0 in the VideoSettings.cfg file. It is set by default to 1 for Patch 2 but that's causing issues in some configurations.
With a good CPU and a bad GPU is it better to set it =0 at all?

Odd, but every time I have fraps pre-loaded before playing 2K15, it will immediately crash. It's an easy fix, just open fraps after the game is running....but still weird.

Hey Leftos we can't equip the lng compression shorts in myplayer.. Is meant to be that way.. I can equip it on CAPs but not my player..

Why can't I still use the keyboard in MyPark? It's frustrating, I know its best to use a controller but I'm used to playing with keyboard so please kindly look over this.

I'm still having audio crack problems that made my graphics go stutter.

2K really fucked it up this year on PC i think... its been nearly 3 weeks and people who bought the game cant even launch the game... people who pirated the game cant launch the game, nearly everybody getting the same crash issues... They released 2 updates and nothing changed... And the most bloody irritating thing is that new file system... the .iff file system was really cool and easy to replace/use. NBA2K15 must be the most troubled game of all time.

I think you're actually "the most troubled person of all time".

Hey Leftos the last patch fixed my stuttering problems!Do you intend to fix the widescreen problems(2560x1980 21-9 aspect ratio) in next patches?
ps: Χαιρετισματα απο Ελλαδα!

I have the audio cracking and video stuttering every 1~3 possessions, mostly when the ball is near the basket. since day one.
patch 1 made it less frequent, patch 2 is just like when the game was released.
aside that, the games runs great (60 fps when not stuttering, with graphics maxed out) but the stuttering happens even on minimum quality graphics.
i've tried every fix i came across. the only one that solves it is disabling the audio. (no good playing like that).
i'm running it on
intel i7 920 @ 2.67ghz
12 gb ram ddr3
nvidia gtx 970
all drivers up to date

Leftos, I'm a little bit confused. It's said there in the Video Settings help that:
PLAYERLOD
Player mesh resolution detail level and cloth simulation control.
PLAYERLOD=0 - Cloth simulation enabled. Recommended for CPUs with 4 or more cores.
PLAYERLOD=0 - High resolution mesh detail. Recommended for high-end graphics cards.
PLAYERLOD=1 - Medium resolution mesh detail. Recommended for mid-range graphics cards.
PLAYERLOD=2 - Low resolution mesh detail. Recommended for low-end graphics cards.
So lets just say that I want some High-res details but I don't want cloth physics. What value should I put?
Mon Oct 27, 2014 12:34 am
I'm assuming that PLAYERLOD=1 is without the cloth simulation. Because with medium settings the graphical quality of the players are no different from player detail on high. Except for the shorts animation physics being static. I'm guessing this is mistyped in the Video Settings help file. If you capture screenshots of the players in High Detail and in Medium and compare them to each other you will see the graphics quality is exactly the same except for cloth simulation...

Hmmmm, ok. Thanks for the clarification.

Why music dont play after one quick game played? Music just stops even its turn on in menus
Mon Oct 27, 2014 2:26 am
The micro-stuttering is far worse now. Before, I was consistently at 60 fps except after a score and the screen turned. I am not consistently in the mid 50s with the constant stuttering. This issue seemed to be fixed after the first patch, but now the game is almost unplayable.

Now music just stop suddenly. Interesting how they fix couple things and then suddenly other bugs appear.

I bet they do it on purpose to ensure that you just keep buying the game every year. Sheisty 2K Devs.
Mon Oct 27, 2014 4:16 am
No really, few days after patch new bugs started to appear. I must ask myself do they even test it before mass release? I will buy game always, I love basketball but it is really strange that same bugs appear every year.

Is hair supposed to look like this now?
http://abload.de/img/unbenannt-1wtudg.pngBefore the second update hair was much smoother and finer and had a more subtle feel to it. Yeah it fixed the issue with hair looking weirdly transparent from afar, but this is much worse in my opinion. Do not like.
Mon Oct 27, 2014 10:28 am
Yeah, something did happen to the hair. On quite a lot of the real players the hair looks INCREDIBLY shiny, overly so on the majority of players who aren't bald or buzzed down to stubble. Stubble and short hair looks sorta painted onto scalps now, it's kinda weird too.
Another issue is that on a lot of the players who have facial hair, the facial hair itself looks patchy and very uneven in a lot of areas. Buzzy posted a pic of Anthony Davis and I took a look at the rest of that team, John Salmons has a large patch of skin on one cheek right dead center in stubble that is stubble free, looks odd.
It's like the hair fix made a lot of the players look like they're struggling to grow beards at all. Like puberty just started for them or something.
Same thing with MyPlayer/created/random generated players. Facial hair patchy, anything on top longer than a buzz is a little too shiny. With the invisible headband thing still there, makes for some fun follicle adventures.
EDIT: Uploaded some screenies. One of Lou Amundson whose Sumo style has been samuraied in back. The other two are of MyPlayer whose beard used to be a lot fuller than it is now.
