Definitely a good addition. Maybe good for some time but if playing a whole season, it can be pretty repetitive.
I also like how he [the announcer] puts emphasis on LeBrooooooon James! I also noticed that their entrances are different [low fives, chest bump etc.] I think these are like signature opening ceremonies. Would love to see it in MyCareer [along with name pronunciation or at least more nicknames].

I think it is also weird that the Irving face boards [or whatever it is called; the one being waved by fans] just suddenly vanishes at 0:51 . And it all happens in the same time.

Great intro.... thanks for posting, but will they ever get the net right in this game ? big pet peeve for a lot of people not just me,
also it's not just the way it looks but also the way it moves as well, as if it was tooth floss, it's never had any real weight to it and it moves to maximum velocity even on easy layups that in real life would barely cause it to swing.
Also different arenas have varying net lengths strangely enough, not by much, but definitely noticeable

and I wonder if this year the PC mod makers will actually be able to make the net a 3D texture or will we still get stuck with the flat 2 dimensional fishnet once again

You can see at :42 seconds looking at the hoop, the net string that gets put through the cylinder (ring) there's a huge gap and it seems 2K is modelling the net from a $100 store bought Spalding hoop with the ringlet/hook attachments on the rim, you can see the gap between the strings it looks identical to the 2K nets

when obviously in the NBA they use the double ring and put the actual net through the inside of the ring itself which makes the strings a lot tighter and closer together like in the pictures below, look closely to the backside iron how they attach the net there, a knot and it looks really tight tied together

I expected the cheers for LeBron to be much much louder than the other players, but it was the same for all.

The crowd should be going nuts for LeBron but other than that it was nice the crowd wasn't as crazy as I thought they would be overall.

I think it would be pretty cool if each player had a hidden attribute for each city's likeability.

0 = Hatred
50 = Neutral
100 = Love

Then the attribute could lower if that player usually dominates against the home team. Or lower when the player played for that team and asked for a trade. Or rise when the player gives to charity or rises in overall popularity from being a great player. Things like that. Maybe next year?

@marcisaac
That is caused by the draw distance. The GPU stops rendering things that are far away to lessen the amount of objects that need to be drawn when they are far away or barely noticeable, giving the game higher performance. It's pretty standard in most games.

Actually, the spotlight moved away from them. If you look closely, they never vanish at all. They just get darker when a light moves.

Awesome. great to see player introductions in the game. As with the halftime show, I won't watch them every time - sometimes I just want to play - but it's nice to have them there when I want a game to feel special, or get extra hyped.

You know what really annoyed me about this 'trailer'? When they do the closeup shots from the ground looking up, and then they cut to a wide shot, and you can see that there's no cameraman there, so the camera angle was impossible to actually take. I hate that shit. :lol:

Yeah, it's kinda immersion breaking, but that's been in previous games too :D
But hey, it's great they added this and all these "cosmetic" details can be added later - crowd reacting differently to players, more immersion (more characters like cameramen). This is big step up in game's presentation and they will have a chance (and a good reason) to improve on that in 2k16.

For sure. It's not gonna make me cancel my pre-order or anything, but it's just a lack of attention to detail that annoys me. I doubt 99% of people even noticed it, though.

There were a lot of these type of posts at this time last year regarding 2K14 on PS4/XBbox, and then it came out and was on a complete nother level than its predecessors. The reality is that it looks worlds better than what came out of the box for PC last year. Attempting to argue that point is really futile.

YouTube compression doesn't help, either.

Maybe u right but i remember last year believe me, even me, biggest enemy of consoles after first screenshots i almost bought console only for this game, so no its not like this. I agree this looks way better than 2k14 for pc without any doubt but after trailers my jaw is still on place. :wink:

Andrew, for sure
