Question - I just pre-ordered on steam, but it doesn't show up in the library list. Can anyone else confirm that this was the case for them? I got the confirmation email, but normally I see the game show up in the library, albeit, grayed out.
Anyone else? I'm looking for a warm fuzzy, I guess.

Apparently the game is still hidden in the database, they just opened the store page. SteamDB shows a 25% preorder discount for the UK so maybe people preordering now are jumping the gun? Steam usually offers a discount for preorders so maybe they'll update the preorder when more info comes through.

Says 4 PM UTC October 22nd for me, which is like 8AM PST that same day

Hi everyone! I just took a look at NBA 2K15 on Steam and I found this:

The release date is different and take a look at the note below the screenshots. Am I assuming right that there will be a separate server that are only for these set of countries?
(I am assuming that it will be on Singapore.)

No, it just means it'll be available later in those regions.

Is it possible to download and play the game before October 10 with an Amazon game code? (fake US address purchasing)

Even if you got a game code from Amazon, I'm pretty sure you would need to activate it while in a US region, or spoof your DNS location to that of a US one. (But that is strongly advised against since it is against the Steam TOS and could get banned doing so.)

Actually, Amazon mostly sells region-free/ROW Steam keys. The exception are mostly Deep Silver games. However, it's always risky to do this without confirmation. And since this is a pre-order, confirmation won't come until October 7th.

Do not risk your Steam account just to play a game four days earlier.

For what it's worth, I haven't been able to purchase NBA 2K Steam keys through Amazon here in Australia. When we picked up a few keys for a giveaway earlier this year, JaoSming ended up taking care of it and I re-imbursed him.

No definitly not. But you would need a VPN to activate the Game early, because Steam activates the Game based on your Location.

Yep, don't worry it will shows up few days before release if preload is available or at release date but just in case keep the email confirmation so you have a proof, we never know
Pre ordered mine two days ago and it's also not in my library

Bit the bullet and bought 2K15 from GMG. My bandwidth is gonna take a huge hit. (But my ISP never charges me for overage charges)

BTW I think that having a data transfer limit is ridiculous. Especially these days, when lot of stuff is being distributed digitally.

I agree. Either increase it or get rid of it altogether. But then again, here where I live (Western Canada) we have data caps, but even if we go over our bandwidth, they rarely every charge us for overage fees.

Over here (Czech republic) most ISPs don't do this AFAIK. What pisses me off is that my town doesn't have fiber optics connection yet, even when the backbone runs about 5km away from here :/
Can't wait to move out...

xbox 360 controller:
http://www.amazon.ca/Accmart-joypad-Con ... WGTBR690QA Or
Logitech F310 GamePad
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-940-0001 ... itech+f310or maybe can you reccomand a controller that is better then both of these in the budget of $15-20

360 controller for sure. X1 controller if you wanna spend a bit more. BTW, that 360 controller link looks fishy. You're not probably gonna get a legit first party 360 controller for that price.
http://www.amazon.ca/Microsoft-Xbox-360 ... B004QRKWLAThat's your best bet.

You said you can't afford the 360 controller, so what are you even asking?
