Hi i tested your beta every thing is very good except the atributes like midlleton in real life he plays about 28 min scoring about 10-11 point in your roster he just only 61 overall other is henry sims he plays like 20 min on your him overall about 62 or something you need improve that there many players that they overall not realisctic but thank for beta realease

ticarex you are a bit wrong on your rating suggestions , i somewhat agree with Middleton , i watched some Bucks game this season but he is no better than 65~ overall and doesnt deserve to be , actually im playing bucks assoc with older version of Med's roster where Middleton is 60 or 61 ovr and i score 7 or 8ppg with him in 13minutes per game so he plays just fine and Henry Sims doesnt deserve rating increase. Basically what im trying to say is just because lower tier players play a lot of minutes on bad tanking teams and their stats seem decent doesnt mean they should be rated higher and im actually happy that Med understands that , at least according to his ratings he does.

for some strange reason i cant change deron williams cyberface, i'm stuck with that face r4zor did when i use this roster, despite adding different cyberface... its weird

You have to replace .iff file in the online downloads folder because 2K released an update for his face. Make sure you do it after loading the game or the folder will disappear. You have to do it each time unfortunately. I always make a copy of the original folder before replacing the files and keep it there for ease of use.

Middleton probably needs a small boost and so does Henry Sims but we should always note that they are playing on extremely bad teams. Anyone with enough minutes could produce like they do. It also brings up the question why aren't they getting the proper minutes in the first place.

Meds could you tell me why i cant import new players from your beta version to your old version of roster ? I copied new players in RED MC but they just wont show up in game , the only one who shows up is Justin Hamilton because i overwrote some other player for him and didnt insert him in the free slot like i did for other players, can this be the issue ? Do i need to overwrite some players for new ones to show up ?

first post kinda new to nba 2k long time nba live player....

having problem with 0.9c version of your roster.

clean install of nba 2k14.
downloaded appdata files 0.9c/main directory files all in order 1-5 etc....placed into correct folders steamapps/common/nba2k14 and save folder...
downloaded cam's dedication global beta 0.5
no other mods.


so I load up your roster without signature skills and hall of fame settings.
start season with knicks and everything going perfect.

got to December 25th of season and now when trying to play next game game crashes to desktop every time for the 27th December game.

is there log/ any reason why this would happen?


(I tested another roster just now by trying official roster update from 2k and simulated whole season with knicks and there was no crash)

Meds, I see that you have not updated Meeks at all.. Could you do that? He improved in all facets of a game. I also think Nick Young deserves Shot Creator and Microvawe and Kendall Marshall deserves Set Shot because that's how he gets points.

Which roster did you use when you started your assoc ? You need to use meds roster assoc and not any other roster (with injuries or without it) because they might cause crashes.

Change the player's IsFA value to 1 and TeamID1 and TeamID2 to -1 before signing them to their respective teams in-game.
By the way, my RED MC is not licensed that's why I can't edit the Teams tab and this is my way of importing players from roster to roster.
If yours is licensed, you can just simply add the player's ID to their respective teams in Teams tab.

This might just be a case of there being too many factors that have to be here contributing to the release of this project.

Jampasir (whom I haven't seen in the forums in 2014), [Cam] (although he's back on track, he still missed plenty of time), and even VladZola (This next REDitor release probably won't be coming out any time soon, unless he gives Med the beta to do what he needs) are all people that Med need to finish what they are doing to end up releasing this project. There are 4 people with lives and little time for 2k as I see it, so even if 1 person doesn't complete the job, everyone has to wait. And this has become more and more apparent as time goes by. Even gamez is slowly entering the mix with his animations.

This isn't a very efficient way of work IMO. Not trying to sound like an impatient whiner but it is the inconvenient truth. It isn't like the March Madness project with literally every modder chipping in their 2 cents, or 2K headquarters with people being paid to work there. The people working on and with this mod have school, and work outside of 2K headquarters lol. I don't know how to fix this problem, but something definitely has to be done. I know people have been preaching patience over and over and over but at some point it gets ridiculous, and asking for anything should be completely justified.
