Any news about NBA 2K15 for PC?

The 2K developers have already started their work on NBA 2K15 and it's coming on the next-gen consoles for sure. But, what about the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360? I assume that they'll continue with their support for the old consoles, given the fact that the majority of console gamers still have them. But the PC version is a whole different story. The PC sales are really lower than the console ones, something that might back off the developers. I really hope that they port the next-gen version of 2K15 on the computer. Next-gen graphics combined with a huge community modding support is something that every gamer dreams about. Feel free to share any info that you found out about!

I'm assuming that the 360 and PS3 will receive a release for at least a couple more years, though it won't receive the same attention and support as the PS4/X1 versions. I'm also guessing if there's a PC version - and there's probably at least a decent chance of that - it will continue to be a port of the 360/PS3 version for the moment.

Exactly, the chances for a next-gen port to the PC are very slim. Honestly, I wouldn't mind paying an extra 30$, if that meant getting a next-gen port, which would mean having the enhanced graphics with all of the extra console features and game modes, or at least the complete game modes of the current-gen consoles. Maybe we could contact the 2K developers about that?

It certainly doesn't hurt to express our interest in and enthusiasm for that, but decisions like that are often made higher up and come down to cost, profits, etc. But by all means, we don't lose anything by speaking up.

I may well be of course, but I think it's a fairly reasonable assumption given the amount of attention that the PC version receives. It could be worse, of course; in that scenario, we're still getting a PC release.
