Both are located right next to the player models in the file itself, exported from 2K13 (part 928), imported into 2K14, and DONE. The 2K14 file is bigger, because of the sleeves, so you could try doing a hex part replace and add the needed 00's after the 2K13 file to make it all the same size. I'll release this global file, with TP's lightened reflections, once the tool is released though. HELL YEA.
Hell yeah!!!!now thats awesome!! I know this might not be possible right now but can u send me the file? I wont release.just wanna experiment more on the global.thats all.
Anyway I wanna try importing textures myself.hope that comes out soon..when u have time jao try importing the reflection maps,cubemaps and specular maps from 2k9 to 2k14.see if those makes a difference.the cubemaps for players changes the lighting on players body when i change them..

sorry man, just like the roster testing, I'm not releasing anything until the tool is released. Its out of respect to Vlad and the community. I'll try and search through the 2K9 global for those maps. EDIT: I looked through the global, didnt find anything that looked similar to the 2k14 maps. There is no way to "name" the textures in the 2k9 file, and the globalIDs are different too.

JaoSming, for me 2048x1024 is good. another question the warmups can be HD'ed? yes the number/logo placement should be done man.

Maybe try 2k11 maps instead..one more thing maybe u can send me the 2k9 global.iff and ill just study it.

wait... could we import the 3d warmups top into the 3d shirt model and play with long sleeves?
I know some editing would be need as the warmups also come with the pants

Aint nothing wrong with 4096x2048 though

Warmups can be HD'd
The numbers and logo placement information still needs to be found, then it can be editable.

Not when this first comes out, since this is primarily focusing on resizing parts and textures. Vlad is going to go after models too though after the initial release.

So, if I pay for licenses and create an HD Celtics uniform, I can release that just like any other patch here and anyone can put that file into their game and use it. You need pay for a license to create the modified files, but not use them.

Well this is extraordinery news!! Now I would not be even mad if NBA 2k15 never made it into the PCs..

Anyway I would kindly ask you if you can HD'd even those warmups uniforms because their low resolution drive me crazy all the time. Also maybe some "press conference stuff". I looking for this mod and every mod based on it. It's like the second christmas are coming..

no idea, 2k11 and previous games' iff files are not currently supported.

And Jao, 2k11 lightning will be possible?
I dont no why, but 2k forgot the lights for 2k12/13 and 14 for PC.... on console the ambient ligth still working....

I dont know. I never had anyone post where all the lighting tweaks are in the global and I dont care about that stuff enough to find them myself. If you can find the parts, its possible, but know that stuff is sometimes just not used anymore in the latest games. Remember the special brightness/contrast stuff we could do in Stadiums in 2K12? Well even though we can use 2K12 stadiums in 2K13 and 2K14, neither game loads that extra later. There is a lot of stuff that simply isnt used anymore, so I dont know if that will be something that could come over.

could we use this to build new roster.iff files? I would like to completely mod the Path to greatness mode but each game hase has its own lebron_roster.iff file
...
I would love to make that a HS to College game mode or something....or make a roster.iff based on UBR rosters to make the game mode a legendary teams type of game mode

Before RED MC was out for save files this year I talked to Vlad about supporting iff files and the LeBron files. He said after all the things he wanted to implement with save files and iff files were completed he would look into it. That was months ago though.

Older files aren't supported yet and wont be at the initial release. I'm twisting Vlad's arm to get them supported just so I can try to bring those courts over though
