Damn, this mod is a testament to the dedication of this community! I would call this a completely new game, considering all the features that it has. Great job!

I like this is mod a lot too, but I can not rate it very high yet.

I would say strong 6 or 7 from 10 for a present release

- nothing is invented sn this mod, just edited previous discoveries of other modders
- Roster - edited Slimm's roster (as well as gameplay)
- floors - worst from what other modders do in NBA2k14 (NBA2k13)
- Jerseys - worst from what other modders do in NBA2k14 (NBA2k13)
- Stadiums - worst from what other modders do in NBA2k14 (NBA2k13)
- All rest grpahics - acccessories. menus, etc - nothing new, most of them in worst quality comparing to other NLSC

But the really good thing is that MM2k14 patchers collected everything in one.
That requires some dedication and time to fulfil.

I am sure as time goes this mod will be raised to new level and will bring even more joy.

droc81yo, love it. Whenever you feel like, either post a link up or PM them to me and I'll make sure they're in the next release. Awesome work! If you're up for doing more, I'd look at Syracuse next.

exrxixxx, you're of course entitled to your opinion. I think many of the graphics used are on par with top level releases from other modders here in the community, especially considering they are from scratch with fewer available resources than updating pre-existing NBA templates. I know you're not criticizing anything, I just want to comment before somebody reads it the wrong way. Thank you so much for your efforts and contributions thus far!

bigh0rt, glad you like them, was tedious but now I have a good technique and can complete one start to finish in about 2 hours.I need to add tats to Ashley, Hollis-Jefferson, and create Gabe York . I'm also gonna redo Tazewell with a different head shape, then I'll PM them to you. I'll do Syracuse next, might be a couple weeks till there done, wife is already starting to get on my butt spending all my free time modding.

Well I guess I'm just easy to please, but I think this mod is absolutely amazing. I have not had college basketball since 2k8, and I am loving every second of this game.....great job everyone.....best NCAA game I've ever played.

Yes, yes, high five to bigh0ort for release.
I have no doubt it took hundreds of hours to complete v5 MM2k14 and it simply too much data to make it awesome right away.
Some more (often minor) graphic improvements and it will be even better.

I just wanted something opposite for this media buzz that this thread initiate elswhere forehead this mod gets solid.

For some reason I am having no luck getting the players to show up. I just get the white bodies no heads. I used the auto install in steam, created a new directory to not interfere with my regular game. Downloaded the Full and Lite file to copy players faces over and nothing.

Note: Uninstalled everything. Starting from scratch...Going to try the Manual install see if I get a different result.

It did not work. Still getting all white no head players. Here is what I did..

1 - Followed the tutorial on creating a separate folder for the install
2 - Downloaded 'March Madness 2K14 LITE Part 1'.
3 - Unzip the file. Inset all contents (the individual files, no folders) into your Main NBA 2K14 Directory *.
4 - Download 'March Madness 2K14 v1 Roster & Settings v1'.
5 - Unzip the file. Choose the proper folder for the Version of the game you are Installing (chose Full).
6 - Copied and pasted all Full version filesIf you wish to Overwrite some of your NBA files

Note: I started a game with Michigan this is what I see:

- I see walton with a white uniform, no one else has heads and has white uniforms including bench
- I see cheerleaders,refs and coached correctly
- court is black

you ctirictics is bit out of line. the fact is wwe dont have this mod anyother way. and you know making them right isnot a oppeice of cake. it may improve, but think there good, as is, but given therwe dont have any mod with owurk this work, i woundt bite as it is. y tryi doinit all. justr saying

You need to read the directions. You installed incorrectly. You must install Lite, and then Full, in that order, if you are wishing to have the Full version.

Great mod, very good job.

I have some suggestions to play better the season mod:
All free agency must have a overall skills less then 60, so the cpu teams do not sign the players.
All players in each roster have 6 years contracts with 5.500.000 salary so the salary cap is full and you have no free agency after one season.

I find one mistake:
The Player from Albany Sam Puk No.44 have white legs.

And why Albany is in the mod?
Cincinnati is a better choice.

All uniform fits well for in MM, except I do not understand what causes for white home uniforms to be so... too much brightness or something like that.
It is like 100% white + some more light.

bigh0rt's alma mater is Albany. Also there's quite a few Australians on the NLSC, and one of them made 4 CFs for the 4 Australians on Albany.

Do not make a separate installation from the Steam edition.

A separate DVD or DRM-free installation should work fine for a second installation. If you have the Steam version and not the DVD or DRM-free version and want to make a separate installation, its time to get cracking and find a solution on your own, as there is none at the current time!
