Fonts are digitally edited in english.iff (2k14 file).

NBA2K9IFF editor could be good to view English.iff file for font textures
No. 49, 65 and 68.
Do not know about slots in 2K13 English.iff.
(for me this tool does not work, but I know for Sixers85 it works, so maybe it works for you too).

But even if you manage to swap font textures from '14 to '13 it will not work correctly anyway, because I hex-edited much more in order to display those fonts.
I'd just adivise to forget it with NBA2k13

hi exrxixxx, i'm french and i have the same issue that bliss in 2k14, i know i must modify my french.iff but i don't know to do this, i open english.iff with modtool and i looked No 49, 65 and 68 but it's same thing that french.iff, i think i must hex edited french.iff but i don't know what i must modify , if you can explain me it will be great, thanks for your job it's awesome  :bowdown2:

Bliss does not have this issue with 2K14. He has it with using scoreboard with NBA2k13.

If you dot not have experience in hex-editing, my explanations "how" will not make sence as you will not understand anything,

IN other words I'd be happy to help with anything if some particular advises are needed with some certain areas, but not how to make it from A to Z as this would require to much time and efforts with not top-priority stuff

ok no prob, i just want to know which areas in french.iff for modify quarter character and scores character because i have same characters that bliss even if i am in nba 2k14. i think it's because i use french.ff and not english.iff

thanks again

I do not know what you need to do change with french.iff. This is your file, not mine, I did not explore French
In english iff these are 49,65,68 slots as written earlier. Explore french.iff by yourself.
Swap textures if structure of english fonts are the same as french fonts.

But I'd suggest to switch English language in the game.

Explore newscorebug.iff with NBA2kX mod tool
Import your edited texture (texture must be converted from PNG to DDS (DXT5 compression).
Search for tutorial in NLSC about texture editing in tutorial section by Jaosming or other modders.

i know what im doin, but theres no texture in that file with anything..i was looking for that "nba season of giving" lolgo...theres nothing...what number is that in the tool

I just checked an uploaded file and seems to be OK.
Put your own text on it.
ESPN uses Klavika or Forguten futurist fonts.

Import edited texture with NBA2k Mod tool to newscorebug.iff, Section 2, subfile 11

Thank you for your answer... ~ there is a question? You give the blank espn text is only applicable to the bottom of the scoreboard (there is a part in the NBA CARES event?) :?:

Bizzy45, yeap, well done!

Some thought to share with you.... Forgotten Futurist fonts is what I used for Clocks fonts.
For texts in the bottom part of scoreboard (NBA ON ESPN, etc.) ESPN still uses Klavika medium Bold Italic font stile in my oppinion (or maybe Forgotten Futurist, they are very similar)

xEvanGz, yes, why not? If you play dynasty and pay a lot of attention to your next game, this is not a biggie to spend 60 seconds for making the experience even more close to reality.
Well done!

Is there a way to use these scoreboards for blacktop mode? All of these scoreboards work fine in all other modes but in blacktop mode it uses the default 2k scoreboard. I'd like to use the TNT one for blacktop
