Harden: 8 pts, 3 ast, 3 reb, 0 stl, 1 blk, 2-9 fg
Lamb: 22 pts, 5 ast, 5 reb, 2 stl, 1 blk, 8-10 fg

Yeah only one game, but he's not that consistent. He's still way too far from the role he had to fill in.

That's it!
He's not even close to be a reliable 3rd option on offense. Only thing Harden and Lamb have in common is that both suck on the defensive end...

Not to mention that Westbrook is out and it was already a blowout after 3 quarters, more garbage points for everyone!

You can never justify Harden trade in terms of talent. It was entirely a money decision.

Except he hasn't had to fill in the third scorer role because Reggie Jackson has taken over that responsibility this season. Lamb spent most of last season in the D-League but is getting more minutes this season with K-Mart gone and he's doing fine. Which second year player isn't inconsistent? Maybe next season he will become the third scorer if he takes the step up like Harden did.

I agree. My point was simply that the trade isn't as doom and gloom as everyone makes it out to be for OKC. Lamb is averaging 10ppg as the fifth scoring option (on 48/41/95 shooting) and Steven Adams has looked comfortable at the level and consequently restricted Perkins to less minutes per game, which is a good thing.

Second year Lamb stacks up fairly well against second year Harden, which is all you can ask of him. He's shooting better than Harden did and the only big difference seems to be Lamb not attacking the rim and getting to the free throw line as much as Harden did.

He is never going to be as good as Harden and not even the most optimistic Thunder fan is delusional enough to suggest that, but he is developing into a decent bench scorer in his second year. He's got a nice shooting stroke and his length should help him become a better defensive player. He's in a good environment to help his development when you consider how the Thunder have improved Durant, Westbrook, Harden and Ibaka in recent years.

Lamb is touted to be the 'centerpiece' of the Harden trade so I think there's a notion that he's supposed to be filling up what Harden did back there.

Which is a huge difference because it's why Harden is a superstar caliber player.

Plus Harden can create, pass, and has playoff experience.

Every Blazer game seems to go down to the wire. Another nail biter in OKC and Portland pulled it out somehow.

Scott Nrooks unwilling to play Reggie Jackson above 30 minutes is puzzling, nevertheless, impressive win for the Blazers.

I've heard people remark that Reggie Jackson is a bit too shot-happy for not being as good. Last night he looked off Durant a couple of times late in the game too.

Reggie has talent though nevertheless. But like any young scoring first PG, bad decisions will be made. Like around a minute left, he didn't pass Durant the ball twice in a play.

In current news, holy cow, Horford out, Westbrook is out is add on to the injured All-Stars list.

Lee & Curry combo seems to be too much for the poorly shooting Heat.

Curry and Klay makes a nice backcourt duo. Bledsoe and Dragic as well and ofc Lillard/Matthews. Which other backcourt duos are also worth mentioning?

None, who cares about duos when you could have just one Kobe?

He takes so many shots that you would think of it as a duo.

Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, James Harden and Jeremy Lin, Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford, Deron Williams and Joe Johnson (though Johnson's been starting at forward with Lopez out and KG sliding over to centre), Ricky Rubio and Kevin Martin, and Jrue Holiday and Eric Gordon are a few other backcourt tandems that are probably worth mentioning.

Andrew, at the moment, only the first three duos you mentioned are on the Curry-Klay, Bledsoe-Dragic & Lillard-Matthews level if you take a look team wise.

Agreed. I was just naming a few other noteworthy backcourt duos that came to mind, I'm not suggesting they're all on the same level.

You all fail, hard. This was a test to see if anyone recognizes Jordan Crawford and Avery Bradley's greatness. I'm deeply disappointed.

I really enjoy watching the Blazers these days. It was another great team performance last night, especially from 3pt land.

First team to hit 20 or more threes twice in the same season.
