^ Wow man that's crazy.

It's almost as if 2K purposely scaled back the graphics in the last couple years to make the next gen version look like more of a leap forward.

I also noticed in 2K10, the bench and coaches look much better.

It's a pity we couldn't mix and match :P

Ah well, let's hope we get the real version on PC next year.

Thx for letting me know the mods you were using Phreak50

My game looks awesome now

Agree with others in that the older ones looked much better than current versions.

My guess is because those games used to be made from scratch on PC for PC
These latest versions are just crappy ports.
Meaning they ported the Playstation or xbox version to be a PC version.
Then just made a few tweaks and cut things out to make more want the console versions.

The same opinions I said earlier viewtopic.php?f=151&t=93379&p=1667029#p1667029. So still I am not alone in that :D
I guess If now 2K9 had support by modding, roster updates etc. 2k9 PC can be near next-gen.
And I have thought that every year 2k specially understated graphical component to a next-gen version had the "WOW" effect :?

The discussion here got me interested enough to dig through my old screenshots, which, if I remember correctly, were played on quite high settings (high AA and AF applied and max settings)

Profile is just the 2K13 one (add the 2K14 .exe), with settings turned on for AO. JaoSming has a YT tutorial I believe.

When I try to enable AO for NBA2k14.exe in Nvidia Control Panel, the option is greyed out and it says "Not supported for this application". I'm trying to make it look like in your screenshots, cause it looks amazing. Please help! :(

L.E.: Nevermind, I found the youtube tutorial. Here it is if someone else wants it :)
