Your image didn't load, but I copied and pasted the URL to see it.
You want a mod of Gordon Hayward with shorter hair, like he has in his 2013 Utah Jazz media day photos?
obi1ginobili wrote:Have you tried using the nba 2kx modtool?? I still play 2k12 and i have all of the current players in 2k12 now.. and i use that modtool to import/export any & all 3d models.
I tried using Mod Tool to import a low poly face model and this is what happened:

No error message came up, either.
SC1211 wrote:Hey man, used your re-textured generic players using JSGME and it totally crashed my game. Even when I uninstalled, generic players won't load and games won't load. Having to do a clean install (not sure why disabling it in JSGME didn't fix it). Just a heads up.
Thanks for the heads up, and sorry to hear that you had to reinstall NBA 2K14. I'm actually surprised, since I just copied the Retextured Generic CFs to my 2K14 directory and had no issues whatsoever. My guess is that the CDF files that come with the mod may have thrown off JSGME. A lot of mods are IFF only.
I'll update the first post with a mention that the Retextured Generic CFs aren't compatible with JSGME.

Yeah, I want Hayward current look

V2 of the standard (diverse) crowd texture is in progress. It's the one on the right.
I toned down the shadows and highlights of certain faces and balanced the skin tones. I also gave one of the male fans blond hair just for more variety and fixed his weird eyes. If you open the images in separate tabs (and click back and forth), you'll see the differences easier.

It looks like
R4zoR is already working on a good Gordon Hayward cyberface. Have you seen it? I can still work on a Hayward cyberface if you want. I just thought I'd let you know that someone else started one.

Wow man. I like every one except the Asian one. Hope you change his hairstyle. Great work
Sun Nov 03, 2013 2:16 pm
Thanks, SFA. I think it's the sideburns that are throwing off his new hairstyle.
They were horrible in V1. I think his hair looks better in V2, but the sideburns still don't match up with the rest of his hair. Once I adjust them, I'll see how he looks ingame. If it still looks bad, I'll go back to the drawing board.

Is there any possibility to add more faces as the crowd ?

The game only uses the 12 faces in the crowd texture. However, since each team has its own crowd texture, I can mix them up a bit and add more variety from team to team.
I gave the Utah Jazz a completely white crowd, while 2/3 of the Detroit Pistons' crowd members are black:

nice. can you release the utah crowd?

Crazy stuff
thanks TNeck for ur awesome Crowd patch:)
good job and keep it up

nice crowd mod. i wonder if your putting spike lee or jack Nicholson on their respected team.

Thanks for your latest work on crowd. Awesome

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I've updated the Retextured 2K14 Crowd.
It can be downloaded here.As promised, there is now more variety in crowd members. The different races you see in the crowd will vary depending on which city you play in. In addition to that, I've updated the crowds for the Euroleague, Blacktop and Rookie Showcase teams. I applied a color tint trick that adds some very slight color variation to the crowd's skin, hair and pants depending on the color of their shirt.
The
Retextured 2K14 Sideline Characters mod has also been updated with the new crowd textures. The
gamedataextra.iff file has been updated; I
toned down the shadowing on the cheerleaders' uniforms to get rid of weird dark spots. They should look more similar to the players' jerseys.
For V3, I'd like to update the crowds for the classic teams and give the Euroleague teams unique signs and crowd jerseys (2K Sports used generic crowd jerseys for all of the Euroleague teams). As always, any critiques are welcome and appreciated.

ty bro, nice job .

Please give the FC Barcelona crowd some football jerseys and scarves, just like football fans.

Retextured 2K14 Crowd + Retextured 2K14 Sideline Characters
There are two sets of team_xxx.iff
are those the same stuff ?
Thanks for updating but I'm little confused.
Mon Nov 11, 2013 6:25 pm
I think that for Euroleague teams would be good if someone makes the coach CFs first.
Mon Nov 11, 2013 7:06 pm
Well I see you can't combine both enhanced crowd and sidelines since they have the same team_.iff files. Well atleast you can choose one.

Good job anyways.
Mon Nov 11, 2013 9:06 pm
enanced crowd and enanched sideline characters are in different files. crowd and ballboy ( and I think cheerleders texture) are in teamxxx.iff sideline characters and the 3d model of cherleders are in gamedataextra.iff

Thanx for your work but textures of the crowd are still unrealistic IMO
For example, in real life, how many people wear light green t-shirt or a lumberjack shirt as we can see on your pistons screenshot ?

Thanks. NBA 2K14 got rid of the sideline celebrities, so I wasn't able to.
DW0911 wrote:Please give the FC Barcelona crowd some football jerseys and scarves, just like football fans.
I'll do that. Thanks for the suggestion.

Sixers85 summed it up best: the Sideline Characters mod already has V2 of the Retextured Crowd. The only difference is that it updates the cheerleader and ballboy uniforms as well.
If you install the Retextured Crowd mod first and then overwrite it with the Retextured Sidelines mod, you won't be missing out on anything.
Sorry for the confusion. I should've explained that better.

Thanks for the honest criticism, sticky-fingers.
The goal of my crowd mod has never been 100% realism, but giving more detail and variety to the audience. I thought the plaid (jumberjack) shirts helped break up the monotony of plain T-shirts in the crowd.
With that said, I can always get rid of the plaid shirts in V3. However, I can't get rid of the light green T-shirts. The game engine randomly assigns colors to the crowd members that aren't wearing team colors.

hey Tneck...what about a personalized crowd with jersey with names and numbers of players? like I made in 2k12 and that king in 2k13?
which format you use to import the texture? because I use the png and texture look very bad
if import in dtx5 I see all black

That's a good idea. I always liked those mods.
My only worry would be having to update the mod if I change the jersey names and numbers to players that get traded in real life. Would people expect me to update them when that happens? Most teams try to hold on to their two best players and some stars even have no-trade clauses, but you never know in the NBA.

For NBA 2K14, I use DXT5 format DDS files. I import them using 3DM Tool 0.4.43.0 - later versions crash when I try to open the team_###.iff files.
