[Chinese] Fantasy Star Trainer by Aleczou(updated to v1.3)

Hey can anyone translate the other options in game settings, the ones that control difficulty, game speed, fatigue, NBA rules, you know all the other sliders

If I could open the .exe with legit chinese words, I'll be able to translate everything. That is if you needed my help.

Unfortunately, I can't translate gibberish, and since I can't run it with the Chinese (Simplified) locale to show the Chinese characters, I can't translate anything beyond the 1st screen.

If someone can get it running with the right locale and can take screenshots of each page (saved as .png's, please. no compression will make it easier), I can work from that.

Otherwise, I can't translate dick.

Changing your system locale to Chinese (even if just temporarily) will make the Chinese characters appear. I've done this on two different systems, running Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 7 Home Premium and had success. That should help you get underway.

Here let me tell you guys how I do this just for creating a simple my career, I start the game first then I create a new my career.
after that I I let the other team score one basket then I open trainer and put the game in 4th quarter this will end the game, close the trainer
then do your interviews once you are drafted open trainer again make all the changes as far as attributes skill points and assigning cfs, then save your game then close the trainer, works flawlessly I have played 5 games and my career is awesome

Dont know why doesnt work it anymore. Did not change anything on rosters played rokie showcase , got drafted and tried to apply Vince Carter ( right click, last one) as my player but nothing happened

This is just strange. Because I got curious if it would work, I put Vince Carter on the Raptors and started a new MC. So after the Rookie Showcase I switch my player to Vince Carter without a hitch. No errors, no duplicates, everything is working perfectly fine.

Am I the only one not being able to edit career things (SP, rotation minutes, fans, etc)? I can edit things in the regular player editor tab but nothing in the career tab works except for player grade during games. Makes no difference if I start it before or after starting 2k either.

Ehm, that is just the strangest thing! If one thing works, then so should everything else. Especially since your player grade does work. I haven't the slightest idea what the issue may be...

When you're at the MC tab of the trainer, does it show the correct values for SP and the like?

I finally got drafted by the Bulls! Didn't even have to transfer teams using the trainer. I just got lucky at the draft. Haha! Now I can really start my season!

Nope. It's all at 0 or -1.

Alright, that means for some reason it can't read the values. This sometimes happens to me with the game settings, but when I load my MC and the trainer again it's all working fine. I assume you already tried running the trainer as administrator and such?

Kind of. By experimenting I know what everything is. It's actually really, really easy to figure out.

I always did:

1. Start nba 2k14
2. Open trainer 1.2
3. Create new career ( random name )
4. Finish rookie showcase
5. Get drafted
6. I did not open edit player
6. Find preferable player to play with , right click, last one

I'm not sure what to tell you, but that's pretty much exactly what I do. The things you do different don't matter. I mean, I changed players in the middle of the season, no problem at all. In the trainer I just find the player I want to switch to, right click on his name and select the last option.

Well, not sure if I get an error there (not in a position to start the game) but why would you want to click any of those options? I have no idea what they mean, so I really have no idea what they do. Clicking the last one switches players. At least, it does for me and I don't have to do anything else.

which locations did you set for saves, cache , online data, shoes?

All of them are set to C:\Users\(USER)\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K14\ with the location being where I installed my game. The third check-box is checked.

Don't know what the problem is, doing everything fine but player wont change, i quit and only name of the player appears which i want but generic player i used in creation

Brump, all I did to convert the garbage into Chinese was:

Control panel
Clock, Language, and Region
Region and Language
....

It worked. Great thanks. I'm not exactly sure how far you guys have gotten into it, so how about if I just translate everything to you?

Here the items follow the order at which they are presented in the game. Just go edit any player, go to the tendencies page and there you go. From top to bottom, left column to the right, the order is exactly that in the game. The blue words are the subtitles drive the lane or spot-up, pull-up or penetrate, set-up pre-dribble etc.

HOTSPOTS, 6th blue button

First two columns un-interactable.
Third column: Hot zone (blue), restricted area (light blue), hot zone 1 [cold, medium, hot, unknown], close range (light blue), hot zone 2 [same], 3, 4, mid-range (light blue), hot zone 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 3PT (light blue), hot zone 10, 11, 12, 13, 14.
Blue button: All hot zone full

SIGNATURE MOVES, 7th blue button

Again the items here, top to bottom left to right, follows the order at which they are presented in Edit player section, except that the second part of the middle column are the "signature introductions", and the layup/dunk packages are on the right.

As far as I could tell, the content in the scroll-down menu also follow the same order it is presented in game.

CONTRACT, last blue button

Number of Bird years, length (years) of contract, short-term contract (literally), contracted player role [bench, prospect, role player, sixth man, starter, star], contract option [none, team option, player option, team 2 years], Is limited (?, literally "is it limited") [none, limited 1, limited 2, limited 3], no-trade clause [no, yes], contract thought [will probably re-sign, ready to re-sign, retire, test FA, definitely leaving], accept contract option (?)[no, yes], Salary 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd... 7th.

I really can't get the tendencies to work for mycareer. Myplayer's performance doesn't change during simulated games.

Ok, I have a possible fix for all of you out there having issues with the trainer.

After I had to re-install the game, I started having issues with the trainer only being able to read the roster. Everything else (settings etc.) was either a 0 or -1. And when I didn't run the trainer as an administrator, I got some strange error. I believe that many other people are having this issue, or something related to it. Anyways I found a way to fix the problem I was having and I'm hoping it'll fix any other issues people are having.

- Go to C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K14\Online Data
- Delete the language files in the "downloads" folder, they seem to be the problem

That fixed my problem!

EDIT: downloads folder contains roster files, so had to edit some bad information.
