no, i've never used any of tools for nba 2k series. before UBR/URB mods, i always played vanilla nba 2k.

there is a stickied thread in this section with download and instructions to use jsgme. very simple tool, basically download and install it into your 2k13 folder. a folder named mods will be created. now any mod you download just put it into its own folder inside the mods folder. when you open jsgme you have a list of all the mods you have and you simply select the mod you want to use. no more worrying about deleting or backing up files, all your original files are safe, in the same place theyve always been and you can easily switch back and forth between multiple mods.

so if you want to play with one global, scoreboard, arena music and shoes for current nba but get bored and decide to play with retro season from 90s with different music, shoes, scoreboard, global etc... just a couple mouse clicks changes it all for you in a few seconds.

Ok guys, i decided to release beta version of 98 roster. Because of my holidays with familly, beach, sun and all that stuff i forget where i stoped my work with make it compatible with URB project. So i will call this URB 1998 Roster Beta, because im almost sure about some missing files. Hope u will understand this little problem and help me with finding missing files etc. What u think?

one thing is for sure - shorts should be ABOVE the knees.

there is nothing to select between '93 and current roster shorts types? only two options for shorts lenght?

'93 is too short for '98 type of shorts lenght.

only one 100% working scoreboard with all URB rosters, without overwriting other files and without using jgsm

i would love to use janmykelg great scoreboard but he stops before scoreboard for 1993 roster.

too bad 2k left us with only two options for shorts lenght (long and short one).

in that case, for '98 i would definitely go for long (like current roster) ones.



p.s. that nba scoreboard looks great. i hope someone finishes TNT scoreboard, that one is my favourite.

UBR from 2k12 used short ones, but i think its bad choice.

there are actually 3 shorts lengths, pre-90s, 90s, 2000s. and the long ones should be in 98 for sure. i wish shorts length were individual instead of locked by team because not all players wore the same length. stockton still wore booty huggers till he retired. hornacek and drexler wore medium shorts then also but for the most part you couldnt see the spandex showing from under the shorts unless the player was running or jumping. maybe someone who knows how to edit global could adjust shorts length and spandex length a tad for a more accurate late 90s look.

tricky one for '97, i don't know. i think they had same shorts lenght like in '98. or maybe leave it like in default 2k classic '97 teams.

in the 60s/70s they wore short shorts but in the 80s they were even shorter, like tidy whities almost hahahaha, then jordan started wearing shorts a tad bit longer in around 87-88. karl malone followed and by 90-91 most teams had shorts that were longer than ever before in the nba. they were still short by todays standards but by 93 with the fab 5 long shorts were normal. every year from 89 through 99 shorts got longer. players on the "jail" blazers in the late 90s early 2000s sagged em longer than other teams and eventually david stern started fining players for having them cover the knees or not tucking the tops in but since about 99-2000 shorts have been the same.

id say from beginning of nba until 90-91 all teams should have the shortest shorts except maybe the bulls. from 91-92 through 96-97 or so id give medium shorts and from 97-98 to 2013 should have long.

the dreamcast 2k games had shorts length as an option in the edit player screen and my memory could be foggy but it seems like they had at least 3 lengths if not more. i figured when "next gen" (xbox360/ps3) came out that things like this would be simple but here we made it through an entire generation of consoles and yet i still dont have the same customization options that the original game had 2 generations ago???????????????? will the xboxone versions of 2k have anything more than better graphics? i remember being promised so much when 360 came out but really as far as gaming goes theres not much different unless you count waving your hands to a camera and calling it revolutionary!!!

guys, is it normal that i don't have christmas jerseys for houston rockets in current (2014) roster? at least i don't have them in team selection menu, they appear white (blank).

Today my roster files started disappearing if I go to my 2k13 saves folder they're all still there but once I try to load it in the game the rosters aren't there the most recent one was 2006 last time I checked I tried copy and pasting the roster files in the saves folder and still nothing does anyone know what's the problem??

Ps. Skoadam is there any chance of you possibly making a 70's or 80's season roster, 80's especially since it was the golden era of basketball. Nique's battles with bird, show time, bad boys, promising young mavs team with Aguirre and Blackman, twin towers and so much more

I have no idea whats your problem, first time hear about dissapearing rosters files.
For now there is no chance for 70's because im not interested in this decade of nba.
80's the same, but the next main problem is that i dont have enough face base for 80's. If some1 can convert some faces from 2k12 i will love to try with 80's.

Yeah its not so simple, in my country and in my town is really hard to find good job. I start to panic a little, because im not so young, got familly to take care+mortgage credit...life.

Re-download part 7 only. Word about zip files. Often when i release some new roster i include files for future rosters, so u guys even dont know about this when u downloading those files.
Ultimate Jersey Project Version means roster file is compatible with Ultimate Jersey Project. So jerseys tab is updated with it. You must download all jersey from daninoz thread and put all of them into main game folder. Im not allowed to copy their job and put into my links. UJP roster version is included in V10.

btw. i was wonder are u guys find small details added by portlandblazer, all of this little things make this roster

i hope it's not true after all and that you will keep your job. i can only imagine how you feel. i also had couple of months off without job but it was easier because i don't have credits. now i have contract month by month and i never know how much it will last.

back to rosters - i checked part 7 but it has old date (10.10.2013.) and that why i asked if anything was updated besides roster.

i didn't download that part 7, i only did a quick check on beta 98 roster and i found these teams without jerseys:

- sixers, bucks, cavs, clippers, spurs, suns, trailblazers, warrios (only home jersey missing) and wizards;

i don't know if it has something with part 7 which i didn't download again, due to date of upload on mediafire link.
