Hex-Editing is a great way to instantly increase the realism of your game. Hex is a representation method in computing. Numbers are infinite, but letters are not. With their combination, the amount of possible characters is endless! Hex codes are given to each of the colors on the digital color wheel, so every color has a unique hex-code. The developers of 2K14 have not considered the realism of the game as much as NBAModder has! Each team's home jerseys are hex-edited to exactly match their real color.

do we need to do something after downloading? or simply copy the file to the main folder? do the thumbs file needed to be copied? sorry,i don't know hex editing.

Nope. Just copy the files into the Program Files folder. The HEX editing is all on my part. Enjoy.

Many/Almost all of the teams jerseys are the wrong color. For example the Knicks away jersey is light blue instead of dark blue. So we took the time imto editing each and every single jersey (Home and away) into the right colors (HEX Edited). The download replaces all the team's jerseys. As of right now we have 10 jerseys done but the other 20 are coming soon.

Hey NBAModder, may I ask if it is possible to edit the shadowing of the jerseys with hexediting like in NBA 2K12 (viewtopic.php?f=144&t=83690)?
I supposed you would have an idea because you can edit the jersey colours with hex editing!

Good Idea! I will probably look into this soon but right now my focus will be on the 10 jerseys I have left to hex edit. Thanks for the suggestion.

I don't know, seems like the more traditional way to edit jerseys.

You have more control over what you're changing. If you look at Tha King's jerseys, you can see he doesn't only change the colors of the jerseys, but the composition and look of the designs on the jerseys to make it more accurate.

Maybe I can chalk up something with Tha King soon. As of now I'm focusing on the Color more then the textures but maybe I will team up with Tha King or try the textures myself. Thanks for the idea!

IS this also for the teams classic jerseys they got and for NBA Green etc ? and can you do the same for the accessories and crowd etc ? so everything has matching colors ?

It is a work in progress. We have all the Home jerseys, we are close to finishing the Away jerseys and are starting the Christmas Day jerseys soon.
