[Chinese] Fantasy Star Trainer by Aleczou(updated to v1.3)

How do you load up the program? I open up the application and I get what looks like 5 browsing fields only? I can't get to the section that shows L. Jame's head.

I'm not trying to be a smart ass here, but you load up the program by double-clicking on the .exe. Make sure you extract all the files! If you try to run the program from the archive, it's not going to work properly.

same problem here, i extracted the file and got a .exe file with a couple load of files like the skins folder,etc. whenever i double click the .exe file, it opens up an application with weird characters and 5 different browsing fields.

The problem is, some of us are doing what you guys are saying, but it still won't work properly.

Yes I experimented and I was correct you need to set the above settings
You have to type your 2k14 directory in that first line
Now click the last box on the 6th row down
once you do this, close the trainer.
now start the trainer again and it should appear regular.

Mine is installed through stream. I browse the first field to my stream folder where my 2k14 folder is located and then followed the directions. Once I close it and open it up again, it worked for me.

I'm a little bit offended that you think I'm "saying one thing, then another". Obviously you didn't understand what I posted. Thanks for trying to help though.

When you say that you extracted the files, and you STILL get the extract option, then what am I supposed to think? Of course I'm going to think that you keep trying to run the archive, which is what I mean with "saying one thing, then another". Nothing anyone should get offended by, I just have no idea what your problem is in this case. I understand what you posted, I just don't understand what you're trying to do. First you say you've extracted the archive, you tried running the .exe and you still get options like extract, run and cancel. How is that supposed to make sense to anyone? No need to blame me for not understanding what you're posting, just be a bit more specific about what exactly it is that you're doing.

I've asked you a couple of times to tell me exactly what's happening when you run the .exe file. "Nothing" isn't an answer, something always happens when you run an executable. Does the .exe show up in the task manager? Does the window pop-up and then disappear? What does your error log say?

The problem is, some of us are doing what you guys are saying, but it still won't work properly.

That may be because some posters aren't doing exactly what we're saying? When the majority of the posters can get it to work, and there are a few who are having problems, don't you think those few posters may be doing something wrong? Just a thought...

What you just posted indicates that you are indeed doing something wrong. Again, "nothing happens" isn't an answer when running an executable because something always happens when you double click on an .exe file. I'm trying to help you, but you just won't answer any of my questions.

Also, people who were running into the same problem as you managed to fix it by following the instructions. So, it's not the trainer that's the problem, it's not the instructions that are the problem. My guess is that your PC is the problem, or you're simply doing something wrong.

Remove all the files you've extracted, then clean up your registry (just in case). Reboot your computer, extract the archive again. Run the trainer and make sure you follow the instructions by posted TGsoGood. If that doesn't fix it then there really isn't anything any of us can do for you.

Just a thought here... Could it be that the people that are having problems with the tool are running a "free" version of the game? Again, just a thought! I'm not accusing anyone of anything! I'm trying to replicate the problem, but even when I manually point the tool to the wrong game directory, the tool automatically points it to the right directory.

I purchased my 2k14. So probably what you said. Something must be wrong with my PC.

Simply run the trainer, and have a look at the image below. And for the people who are thinking "But, I don't see 'playertype' anywhere!"... It's labeled as the number 4, which ironically is also highlighted.

Wow, really? The post above yours, look at the picture.

A lot of stuff here doesn't seem to "save" properly. If you change your MyCareer from "created player" to "active player", it seems to automatically reset.

guys this tool works correctly. You guys are having so many issues that I think you guys should just wait for english version. Not being rude but if you don't have experience using these tools and the answers provided are not helping maybe you guys could post videos of what you are doing so we can tell you what you are not doing.

I know people will say why don't we just post a video or tutorial because we know how to use it but trust people will still have the same issues, multiple times I've seen questions answered here and more problems persist. Also for the people who know how to use this we are busy ACTUALLY USING the tool to try to pump out mods for the community and to play. This is just a suggestion but I'm sure many will not like it. Please don't respond with anger or rudeness. I would like for everyone to use these tools.

That's not what you were asking for. Obviously you can't edit the player before the Showcase game because your created player hasn't been added to any roster. Kind of makes sense when you think about it, no? You can actually edit your player during the game (or maybe right before, when you need to press the button to continue) if you want, but I have no idea how stable that is. Now keep in mind that the draft pick and whatnot is for your PLAYER INFO ONLY! It doesn't set your actual draft position. But, who cares? You can just change teams using the tool after the draft.

If you don't run the trainer before you start the game, things may not save. The tool is working perfectly fine. There probably is a reason why this particular thing isn't being saved the way you want it to if you are running the trainer before you start the game.

wow thats great! did anyone figure out what the right click on the thing next to where you type the name search, Id like to see if there is some kinda state cloning options so I can make classic draft classes.

hey. when i start this modifier i get error "nba 2k14 something in chineese has stopped working". maybe someone know where can be problem? thanks

Did you run it with AppLocale? If "something in chineese" is actually chinese characters, then you did.

And if you did, read my edits of my posts. Running it with AppLocale causes it to crash when you click on any of the options. : (

The Baballs guys always have a clone option, it's one of the things they work out first.

I've encoded some of the Chinese words incorrectly on purpose (to get them to show up wrong like in the trainer), so try looking for these (the last column, the gibberish one):
读取 -- "read" -- ¶ÁÈ¡
锁定 -- "lock" -- Ëø¶¨
克隆 -- "clone" -- ¿Ë¡

Usually lock will have a check box just to the left of it.
I'm not sure about finding Clone, though. They use Read and Lock most times.

If you find those gibberish strings, let me know! If not, well, still let me know. They might be wrongly encoded 2 times over, or maybe even more, which means you may see 3 gibberish characters separating each of the "correct" gibberish characters. (i.e.: instead of Read showing up as ¶ÁÈ¡, you may find ***¶***Á***È***¡, with the *'s being 3 other characters).
