Yes I experimented and I was correct you need to set the above settings
You have to type your 2k14 directory in that first line
Now click the last box on the 6th row down
once you do this, close the trainer.
now start the trainer again and it should appear regular.

You would think that running the tool as administrator would fix this...

Well, first off, if you guys run it without AppLocale on Chinese (Simplified), it's not going to be able to display the unicode characters, which for CJK languages, is...everything

That's gonna make it considerably harder to recognize pairs of characters (because 1 Chinese character will show up as 2,4,6, or even 8 gibberish characters).

I finally found all my old notepad .txt files with some translations in them. I'll post what I have when I get it all straightened out and changed to this new 2K14 look (what I have is 2K12, so it's a bit different).

Just lemme get that opening screen translated first, I'll post it as soon as it's done.

There is an image with an explanation telling you EXACTLY what to do. Some of you are making this way more difficult than it actually is. This isn't rocket science.

The box, or checkbox as it's called. If you start at the top, then count down 6 "rows" (first one being the one marked in red) you will see 3 checkboxes. Check/tick the third one.

Ah, maybe that's why I'm having more luck with these tools than others, since I do get proper Chinese characters. Not sure why though, since I haven't changed anything when it comes to that. I'll be looking forward to your translation! Hope it won't be too difficult considering the difference between 2K12 and 2K14. Good luck!

On my laptop I had the same issue. Following the instructions, I got everything to work just fine. So, and I absolutely don't mean this as a knock on you, but you must be doing something wrong. The only thing I can think of is that you pointed the trainer to the location that's portrayed in the image, while you actually have NBA 2K14 installed somewhere else.

Nightly you should just do a youtube video to help everyone out I mean of course if its something you don't mind using

I guess it's an option, but it's so easy to get everything to work fine. I really don't think anyone should "waste" their time on a YouTube video. I mean, it's extract > run trainer > run game > done. It's something to consider if more people keep having problems!

EDIT: The following tutorial will get AppLocale to run the .exe, but for some reason, the trainer crashes. The following text can be largely ignored. It's irrelevant!



Okay, here's how to run the trainer with Chinese characters displayed (you'll want this before moving forward, most likely)

1. Download and install AppLocale.
(It's an official Microsoft product; no need to worry about viruses)
[...]2. Run AppLocale.
Click on your start menu, and type in AppLocale. It should pop up #1.

3. Select the .exe of the trainer.
• Click [ Next > ]
• Select the .exe by clicking [ Browse... ]
• Click [ Next > ]

4. Set the "Language of the application" to Chinese (Simplified)
This may be tricky. Each language is written in the language it represents, so the "Greek" choice is written in Greek—you won't find the word "Greek" anywhere (because it's an english word).
So... here, pick this one. 3rd from the bottom (see pic)

• Then, click [ Next > ]

### The remaining steps are optional, but do them. It will make it so you don't have to do this every time you want to run the trainer. ###

5. Check the box next to "Create a shortcut to always run this application with AppLocale."
• Type a memorable name in the "Link description" box for your new shortcut.
(At this point, the program will run. You can close it immediately. We ain't done here yet.)
• Click on your start menu, and type in the name you gave your shortcut.
• Click and drag the result somewhere on your desktop, and then move it somewhere where you can always find it.

Now you can just use that shortcut instead of having to do this whole 4 step process every time you want the trainer to display correctly.

I'll post my translations in a bit.

Well, is the AppLocale part working? Did it install without a hitch?
Apparently some Windows 8 users have a problem with AppLocale, according to this link:

It's if you couldn't get AppLocale to install correctly.

EDIT: Hold on, I just assumed AppLocale would work for me....but, it doesn't.

So, scratch my tutorial, it's useless for anything past the opening screen. :-\

Unfortunately, I can't translate gibberish, and since I can't run it with the Chinese (Simplified) locale to show the Chinese characters, I can't translate anything beyond the 1st screen.

If someone can get it running with the right locale and can take screenshots of each page (saved as .png's, please. no compression will make it easier), I can work from that.

Otherwise, I can't translate dick.

If you are using the hairstyles for generic players be careful... the ones after the first 5 or 6 are buggy. Some work , some don't, some crash the game, etc

I see your first row ( the one containing location of possible the 2k14 exe is in black, matching all the other row coloring of the words), but however in mine the first row (the C:\programs (x86).... ) remains in all red writing, unlike the other rows beneath it, the writing it in black.... i'm curious why

WIthout any actual information, there's no way someone can help you out with this. You run the tool, and it stops working? That can be a billion and one different things. It most likely has something to do with your system, since it's working fine for pretty much everyone else.

Anyone knows how to properly remove euroleague player from a team, using this trainer?

well, i understand. but i dont know what info i can give i'm using win7 ultimate. tried to run as administrator, change compatibility and nothing. i run trainer, then appears LB picture and trainer stops working. so, i don't know... if you have some ideas just shoot blind

How do you assign cf? I change the cf number to match the png but it just leaves the player with no cf in the game.

Like I said, I've tried extracting it, and when I click on the app, it won't open. I tried "run", it still won't open.

You said you tried to run it, which indicates you already extracted the archive. Considering that you still get the "Extract" option, you didn't extract the archive. You don't get any options like extract, or run. All you have to do is double click on the .exe after extracting the archive.

It's difficult to help you when first you say one thing, then another. So for the sake of not having to engage in a pointless back and forth in which I have no idea what exactly your problem is, perhaps you can tell me step-by-step what you're doing, and what is going wrong?

Dude, I've extracted the file. Double clicked on the .exe. Nothing happens. Read my earlier posts again. I've said that. The problem is is that I keep getting the option over and over again! I'm a little bit offended that you think I'm "saying one thing, then another". Obviously you didn't understand what I posted. Thanks for trying to help though.

Never mind, got it to work..you have to change IP.
