You mirin' my accomplishments?

I didn't actually play online today, but I got some hours in last night.
Still having fun with the offline story mode.

The jet fight is supposedly fun, but I think it takes a certain rank to partake. I'm only at 10 I think.
Anyone tried it yet?

I think I sent a friend request on the weekend. I just recently joined online on the weekend and played for like 13 minutes.

I actually ran a clean second race....

That SUV going flying at 0:13 was hilarious. The online physics seem a bit dodgy sometimes.

Nice break dance dismount after the second race (Y)

I got the trophy for robbing all 20 stores last night

The cheapest apartments are about $75-$80k and you get a two-car garage as well. Alternatively, the six-car garages are about the same price.

I've also made some decent money from stealing cars and selling them at Los Santos Customs. I think the best you can get is about $9k for a car because they won't buy the top end cars. You have to wait a little while between selling cars though.

Racing gets you good easy money, especially if you race with like 4, 5 other people. 1st or 2nd is usually around 4-5k.

I am doing the most infuriating online mission alone right now. For Simeon, It Takes a Thief......if I can actually corner one of these fucks I am doing the worst shit imaginable in GTA V to them. sdvadf asdfvasdfb esuh weanmcko weanf knUFNUIcjko ;asml; c

fucking, finished it. All for a measly $2k. Its 2 sports cars, with the evasive AI, going allllll around scared. If you get out, you can't auto aim, and cops 100% of the time because fuck you. Even if I lost them I got them right back fro having a stolen car......just fuck everything about that, spent a good 45 minutes trying to beat it and LITERALLY went around the entire map chasing one ass and dealing with cops.
Opinions are my own.

That mission took me 30+ minutes, multiple retries and awkward outbursts. Immediate dislike. I had fantasies of fitting the gta disc to a nuclear bomb because of it. Instead of returning the first car, I used it to catch the second one. I killed the driver, then went to return the first car. To my surprise, the other car was impounded and once I got close to it cops were lighting me up and I had a 2 star wanted level. Took some on-foot stealthiness, and the dead driver was still in the car after it was inbounded.

Took me 30 minutes to do that one as well. Figured out that it's best to try and shoot the driver through the back window before they start running away.

I just tried to buy a garage and apparently you can only own 1 property at a time. But you do get a discount by trading in your old property.

Post from reddit

If you haven't played GTA 5 online yet, that's fine, this probably still will make sense to you.
GTA 5 online is fantastic, despite being a user interface disaster. The most interesting part is the "freeroam" mode. There are plenty of non-violent ways to interact with other players in GTA 5 online freeroam, but generally the only thing everyone does is kill each other immediately on sight. You get some small amount of money for killing another player, but not enough to explain the rampant violence. People just do it because they're mostly animals. Mostly insane. Mostly Trevors.
So last night, I'm playing online and I've found a place to get helicopters pretty easy I wanted to see if someone would get in the helicopter with me so I take it and land it in front of someone. Unsurprisingly, I'm shot and killed and they take my helicopter. It's no big deal though since I can get a new helicopter pretty quick, so I do this again a few more times to the same end - acquire a helicopter, land, get shot, get helicopter stolen, repeat. After about 6 or 7 times of this happening, someone finally decides not to shoot and rob me. Instead, very timidly and cautiously, they approach the helicopter and get in with me. I take off.
I like to think of myself as more like Michael. More of the sentimental type. So I take my new friend/guest/hostage around the map with me to all the cool places I've found. I show them how to rob liquor stores super easy and escape from the cops in my helicopter. I take him to the top of a mountain, to some construction sites, to the wind turbine farm, to the amusement park, we go all over and he genuinely seems to enjoy the experiences. At each stop, he gets out and politely looks around, as if in appreciation, and then gets back in the chopper with me. No words are exchanged at all since neither of us has a microphone, but nothing needs to be said.
After about 15 minutes of this going on, I take him to the top of the tallest building in the game. He goes to the edge and looks over the city. It's sunset, and it's beautiful. He's enjoying the view. It's serene. Before I know it, I have my pistol out and pointed at the back of his head. I ask myself "am I really different than all the other animals playing online here?" And as his limp body tumbled off the roof, I chuckled to myself and thought, "no, no I'm not any different."
I wonder about what the other player must have thought as he saw his character betrayed on top of that building. I like to think it was a learning experience for both of us. I learned that really, we're all Trevors.

I have a component recorder, so component out of the PS3 to the recorder, recorder component out to TV. I have to hit record to record anything, its not retroactive.

I'm saving up $205k for a fancy apartment with a 10-car garage. It's really annoying that the most money you seem to be able to make in one go is $9k though. (N)

I bought a 2 car garage for 33500. will probably save up for a sick car. what do you get when you buy an apartment? is it a safe zone from cops/other players?

It's really annoying trying to save up money for anything. everything costs so damn much. ive been spamming the hell out of the LA river race which is basically a loop track around the river for money. i hate that when people kill you you lose $3000. it takes too long to make it back up

In an apartment you get to watch TV (2 cartoon channels/shows), lay on a bed, shower, change clothes or drink whatever is in your kitchen.

But the good thing is that you are safe from random players and cops once inside and when exiting you can choose between walking out the front door or spawning in your garage and driving out.

I spent the last few days saving up $200k to buy a fancy apartment with a 10-car garage. (and, as I later found out, a wonderful view of some rooftops and an intersection. )

Every time I earn a few thousand dollars I open the Maze Bank site on my phone and deposited it so I didn't lose it. Only takes seconds.

Another cool thing is getting the Elegy RH8 (Nissan GTR) for free off the legendarymotorsport site. You just order it and it appears in your garage. No limits either. You can fill up your garage with them if you like.

I uploaded a video of that close bike race we had before. Epic finish.
