i install this mod many times and i don't have a probleme with 93 roster, if you reinstall a clean nba 2k13, download all last parts , copy all files in order in your nba 2k13 folder, normaly you don't have problem .

1998 will be very much detailed, so this why it takes so much time, i believe portlandblazer is finishing with last touches right now, so day maybe two

word about 1999 im working on, rayhoops did there great job, but still i must make it a little in my style, but the worst thing is i found there a lot of bad ages and years pro. I found +1 or -1, and few +10 or +15 haha, some bad jerseys numbers. Anyway i must fix this player by player Another thing which i want to update are 12th players rosters, i want to add as much players as i can- so it take time+rotations and team roles. Im finishing Miami right now so im in 33% of progress.

I'm planning on starting an Association from the 1992/1993 season, but when I played I noticed that the only jerseys available were the historical ones. While I'm delighted that those are the default, I'd also really enjoy having as many historical jerseys (and the current ones) as alternates as possible (including for the expansion teams.) If that could be added in an update, I would be much appreciative.

OR if anyone knows how to add alternate jerseys (using free editors) and can link me to a tutorial, I'll try to work on that myself.


Also, I was poking around some of the draft classes and found them a little wonky. For example, the famously-injured Penny Hardaway has a Durability of 90 in the first class there. I can try to tweak those some if you'd like.

but bro your roster is great, without this i will spend probably whole month to get to this point, i know how angry ure for 2k13 for issues and bugs in creating any other than current roster. Its great u finished this and give me possibility to update some things in it. Beside 2k13 wasnt your target at all, u're focused on other stuff in 2k12.

but bro when u start asso u will face other problems. Simple thing. You will be able to use other jerseys but with old logo and court. For me it doesnt make sense, without full reditor on your own.
About Penny, his durabiility goes low after first big injury, until this he played full seasons.

I don't really care about the courts, and the logos are whatever. I do care about the jerseys.

That doesn't make sense about Penny. "Durability" is the chance that he'll get injured in the future. Penny got injured a lot, therefore, his Durability should be much lower than players who didn't.

Well i can give you simple current player example.
Derick Rose. This player for me was 100 Durability. And he was 100 durability until 2012. Some injures are just to serious for all players. If we give Hardaway 70, he can be serious injured in first season. So yes, Hardaway will be low durability but in 97/98 roster, but he just cant be in his rookie season. For me no sense, but everyone should have own opinion.
Word about jerseys(and other stuff) When i was playin asso using UBR from 2k12 and have only free version of reditor. I was just renaming files. I know how jersey, court,logo was named so i just prepare folders for each seasons with renamed files. Right now im in 12 season and got all jerseys,logos,courta accurate using only free reditor.

Well, I'm trying to look at it historically. Who was Penny Hardaway as a player? He was extremely talented, a likely Hall Of Famer, whose career was derailed by injuries. How can that be modeled given what we have in NBA 2k13? Well, that's difficult to do because there isn't a MASSIVE KNEE INJURY THAT RUINS CAREERS mechanic in the game (possibly because those are less and less common in real basketball today).

There are, however, two things that can be done. First, is to raise Potential and lower Durability. Potential doesn't get met as often if there are significant injuries, especially early on (Hardaway's happened when he was 25 or 26, I think). That actually works reasonably well. Obviously there's a huge amount of luck involved, but if you're playing Association, there's always luck--he could get drafted by the Lakers! He could take a free agent contract with the Spurs!

The second way is to raise his physical abilities and lower his skill abilities. Physical stats start declining when a player hits 28 years old, and if you have a player who relies on them, they'll plummet. I had one guy who was a 90 overall at 28 turn into a 77 by 30. Ouch. Both of these methods in tandem might actually get you a historical result of a fantastic young Penny who quickly falls apart. Or they might not, but the idea is to have the *potential* for a historical result.

It's also worth making comparisons to other players. In his draft, Hardaway is right next to Webber as the two best players (indeed, they were traded for one another). But right now, Hardaway has both a higher Durability and a higher Potential than C-Webb, but I think everyone would agree that Webber had a better career. Another interesting comparison is Bobby Hurley, who could have been a potential star in the NBA, but had an accident that forced him out. That's something that can't really be modeled by NBA2k13--whereas Hardaway can be.

Looking at it historically is also why Rose and Hardaway can't really be compared. Two years ago, Rose looked like he might be supremely Durable, now he doesn't. We also don't know if he'll be the same when he comes back. We do know what happened with Hardaway, so we can adjust his ratings correspondingly.


Anyway. I'll look for tutorials on redditor that might help me, if that can indeed be done for free.

Because we have posibility to look at this historically we can set durability 90 at rookie season, but switch to 70 after devastating left knee injury in 97/98. For me its clear. If he was so injurable from first season he will never handle full 3 seasons with 80 games per year. Not in this league.

Well i think i know how ratings works and its close to immposible that player with low durability rating will handle one season without any injury-i simulated to many seasons to be sure what im talking right now, if u give player 30minutes of play and durability above 50 he will be seriously injured or few times with day-to-day.I think u start mixing opinion about what u want. U dont want to get historical results but u want some situation from the past happen. So we talk about facts or no? U want something close to reality, leave 90 durability for Hardaway in his rookie season, u want fantasy put 50.

The jerseys, I can't do on my own, at least not yet. It turns out you can't edit jerseys in the free Reditor. I'm trying to do it with Leftos' tool, but it requires having the proper customjerseyoffset value. Do you know what that might be?

i totally agree with you about penny. he was not injury prone 'till 97, but even after that he returned and played a cuople of seasons. so you are right about this and don't change it
