Crisis averted. I had an old setup for v1.1 of Red MC. I was able to change the colors back.

kevin durant and russell westbrook's shoes looks funny on meds roster. why is it like that? the previous roster update(8-06) seems fine. the latest update(8-07) is where i had this issue.

EDIT: also some of the other players have shoes with colors that are not the same as their teams.

Haven't used these rosters yet, but I plan to in the near future. Just wanted to give my props for undertaking a pretty huge project and dedicating a lot of time and effort into it. I have no modding ability whatsoever, and to have constant updates like these are tremendous. I'm very appreciative of this and keep up the great work!

All I play is Association mode, with the Pelicans as you well know. I've been restarting every few days when your updates are significant. So I keep playing the Spurs over and over again. Now the real schedule changes everything. So awesome.

I made an interesting discovery last night. Download the test roster here.

Basically, it changes the calendar year to 2013-14, but it still keeps stats (like in AssociationFix) for 2012-13. All this one-year back, current year mumbo-jumbo might really confuse some people. I have provided a download link for this test version. Feel free to use it and comment on how it works in Association Mode -- if you guys like it enough I'll change it to the default AssociationFix roster.

Russell Westbrook's looked fine to me. Kevin Durants are that light-green camo color. I assume since NBA players are no longer required to wear shoes the color of their uniform, jamapasir (the maker of Medevenx's shoes) was probably mirroring what Durant wore in real life.

If you'd like you could make me a list and post it here or in a PM:
Player name --> Shoe color

That way if there is a problem, I can try to nail down where it's coming from.

i just noticed this know & im surprised there isnt anybody supporting this project well if im the only one that supports it so be it this looks awesome . if u dont release it, even if it is to me only, that'll suck but i'd understand

I simulated two seasons with the test roster. Everything seemed to work fine - dates were accurate, etc. Only odd thing I noticed was in the second season both Durant and Lebron averaged 17 ppg. I am not sure if this is an anomaly or a roster issue.

Also, the dates only work with the 82 game season. I also tried the roster with the 29 game season, but it gave the 2012 date - not sure if this matters to anyone. Finally, the stats from prior years skipped the 2012-2013 season (although I know how you set them up to be that way) - but this seemed to be expected.

i also noticed just now when playing most of the teams on the road that most of the players have red and blue shoes. just wanna know if that's also happening in your game? or anyone's?

there's also something wrong when selecting the jerseys of the 76ers(away and alternate labeled as (A)), bulls(double home jersey), knicks(multiple home and away jersey)

NOTE: this is all on the Play Now Med Roster Bobcats. the shoes in the Assocation Med Roster Bobcats looks fine. in the Play Now Albys Bobcats, lebron has blue shoes when playing on the road.

Thanks, this is good to know. If anyone is repulsed by non-correct shoe colors, just play with the AssociationFix rosters. No one has custom shoe colors.

You need to fix Chris Kaman's shoes. The whole Miami Heat's away shoe needs fixing - the black colors are all blues. Brook Lopez has blue color also.

I don't know about the other rosters, but my shoes seem to be completely fine for Meds roster with the Bobcats in play now. I don't know if this would work for others, but my current setup is playing offline - disconnected from the internet. Then I have the latest official online data installed to my main 2k13 folder, and then I have all the NBA 365 files re-installed on top of those in the main folder, overwriting anything as it goes along. I also have my appData\Roaming\2Ksports\NBA2k13\Online Data\downloads folder either deleted or renamed to something else temporarily. I have not had any issues for shoes on Meds roster this way. The only thing I noticed with this setup is in the Features > 2kshoes preview picture is showing blank for only the Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2k5. Alby's shoes is a different story those, since those apparently require his files for shoes, and are pretty mixed up.

It definitely is. I'm beginning the changeover to using .7z today. I didn't realize the performance was that much better over .zip files. The new packs #4 and #5 will be about 150MB each (down from the potential 200+MB) and you will not have to install the things in these packs if you've kept up for say the past week.

The roster .zip will be reduced to 10% of it's original size (only about 1.2mb) -- so happy fast downloading every day for all!

Sorry guys, shoe color doesn't really make much of a difference to me. I just made every roster now so no one has custom shoe colors (everyone should match their team now). I don't know much about editing shoe colors, but if someone wants to jump on board and be my shoe guy, feel free to PM me.

can you pleeassseee go back to how the shoes were set before (I guess with custom colors) for Med's roster. They were completely fine before. I think other people had other issues going on with other conflicting stuff. They were perfectly good before, now it seems with they are forcing team colors where they shouldn't be....solid dark blues for home shoes, that should be white mainly with other custom colors mixed on for some. Please please please change back to how it was before. Other people need to figure it out for themselves.

If you started from a clean NBA 2k13 folder, transfer over the latest official online 2k data to that folder, and then overwrote everything with your files in the proper order, it would work fine. Please if possible change back!!!

One of the awesome things about Meds Roster was how it made all these awesome shoes, and in many cases - actual player specifc shoes in the gameworn colorways from the hard work of jampasir and with the custom colors. Now with forcing team colors, it doesn't look right forcing team colors in parts of the shoes, that weren't intended to have those colors. It's really almost a dealbreaker for me, to the point where I really just want to go back to old roster myself, and start doing all the transactions myself, which I really don't want to do! Please lakers92, change back to the customs shoe colors for Meds roster. We are really losing out on one of the key features of his roster and the hard work of jampasir.

+1 .... First time posting on this thread. And first, I'd like to say great work on this Mod Lakers92. But I have to totally agree with the above comment 100%. I am a big shoes person, and one of the real perks of Medevenx' roster were the completely accurate shoes of jampasir. I would really hate to lose out on how those were intended to be portrayed. I think it would be a good idea to switch back as well. I had no issues with the format before, but just downloaded the latest roster, and agree some colors aren't going where they should be on the shoe, and it really almost makes them look lackluster. Pretty disappointing in my opinion, and hopefully it can be reverted back.

Don't let gio23 ruin this mod for everyone! The shoes are awful awful awful now with the forced team colors! Please fix back to how it was before asap! Don't fix what wasn't broke before...I think those previous posts about shoes was moreso a case of user error or conflicting patches or not correct setup. They shoes were so awesome before now they suck! Jampasir should ban us from using them for messing with how they look now and ruining them.

Well after the outpouring of emotion, I changed the shoe colors back. If there are any problems or whatever and you know how to fix them:
1) Fix them in your roster
2) Save your roster and send it to me
3) Describe what you changed
4) I will put it in the roster

Also changed up the links and am now using .7z archiving to reduce file size. So those of you who don't have WinRAR and don't know how to get it, follow the directions in Pack #6 (it's still a .zip).
