Kids and the internet. Now this is getting a bit too much and unfair towards Knight.

I don't mean to be a party pooper but last time I checked that dunk counted exactly same as Tyson Chandler's putback. 2 same basketball points scored.

Moving on, SAS is the team that really scares me right now. Last night's match made me wishing for MIA vs OKC rematch in the Finals.

Shit, you don't say. In that case, that dunk counts as much as any Darko Milicic 2-pointer ever made. IT MUSTN'T BE ANY BETTER IF IT DOESN'T AMOUNT TO MORE POINTS IN THE BOX SCORE!

When Shawn Kemp threw down the Lister Blister and it made pretty much every highlight compilation through the rest of the 90s, we didn't roll our eyes and say "Well, it's only two points", nor did we wring our hands and mourn the state of basketball culture, all the while saying "Poor Alton Lister". We enjoyed it because it looked awesome, a tremendous display of power and athleticism.

I enjoy it anytime someone from Orlando is insulted. Props to Dwight.

On another note, sad to say that LeBron won't be winning the Player of The Month award this month.

Was hoping for Vecevic to own the Lakers frontline like he did against the Heat twice this season. :shake:

Seems like Dwight's getting healthier by every game.

Too bad the Heat doesn't give him minutes.

Nope. Still no projected date for that, with the possibility that he misses the entire season still looming. If that's the way it is, then so be it. He's been medically cleared, which is promising, but I'd rather he return when he's both physically and mentally ready, confident that he can go as hard he wants to on his left leg.

"When I will able to dunk off my left leg" was what he said I think. Anyway, it's better not rushed. If he returns in the playoffs, I think that will be the best though the pressure would be unimaginable on him, but that's gonna happen anyway.

That's what I was referring to, yeah. I'd absolutely prefer him to exercise caution and not rush back if he's not both physically and mentally ready to play his best basketball with as minimal risk of re-injury as possible.

That's just honest defense by Jones. I see no wrong on that. It's just bad luck for Kobe to land on Jones' foot.

How did Heat come into the discussion here? I don't think you are clear on the concept of what "bandwagoner" means :?:

The Lakers are going home in the first round if they're the #7 or #8 seed.

How can it be "honest defense" by Dahntay, when he has a history of dirty plays ??
I personally think it wasn't at that moment full out intentional, but given the fact Jones has always had a tendency to play defense over the edge it was human nature to him, he did it instinctively, I don't think he was really intentionally trying to stick his leg under Kobe to hurt him.
No not at all, but if you wanna see Jones vs Kobe intentinal, here you go when he legit tripped Kobe few years ago http://youtu.be/Z6BWYMjTs3c,
Also it's FRIGGING FOUL! you NEED to leave space for the player to land, you CANNOT take away his landing space... this is a foul in the rule book, I mean this even gets called in my local rec leagues and in the NBA often as well, but it's tough to call in a late game situation.
Jones is not much of anything else anymore so the only thing he can bring to a team today in 2013, is that old school 80's and 90's defensive mentality, it's the last thing he has that's till keeping him in the league.

And as far as Derrick Rose comeback, well you a$$holes losing money in the Bulls organization deserve every single bit of it... you pushed him to come back early last season when he wasn't ready (ankle injury) he was still naive and young eager to please his hometown so he came back. And on a weak ankle it's common sense that other parts of your body pick up the extra slack (knees) and bam what happens, he busts an ACL.... all this because team doctors cleared him..... afterwards Rose himself talked of disagreements with team doctors so now he has his own.....

I hope he stays out all season for his health, and also at the end of the season that would put a LOT of pressure.... a lot of NECESSARY pressure on the Bulls brass to get him some better players..... You're never supposed to get worse as a contending team come trade deadline... and the Bulls got worse when they traded away some key pieces even before the trade deadline.
Rose's brother called the Bulls out on it specifically and I hope Rose burns them this year by not playing at all, just to prove and show to them that he isn't playin around and wants to win in the longterm, and not just a couple of playoff games this year.
